Finally had time to start install. Got front done tonight and will finish up back tomorrow.I Measured and The extended length of Ironman front strut is approximately 7/8s longer than stock. On par with "extended travel" version coilovers such as king, icon...etc ...I knew the uca bolts would be a lil bit of a pain but damn, my passenger side needed quite a bit of ass kicking compared to driver side.

Couple notes: like others have said, the components seem to be of high quality. The finish, the materials. Also, I read in here complaints of light/easy to flake paint on leaf springs. Happy to report, Definitely not the case with mine. Out of all the different leafs I've used, installed, rebuilt.... These are quite obviously better painted than any others I've experienced. Seems quite typical that leaf packs have very lil labor put into good paint jobs. IM seems to have done good job here.

Other notes, the "build kit" I got came with a recovery kit that I mistakenly assumed would kinda be cheapo stuff. I was wrong. Great soft shackle. Great kinetic rope... All of it, very nice. Again, passed my expectations. Will they hold up? I dunno but again I expected these to be an "add on" feeling deal. They aren't. Appear exactly as I would expect a high quality rope and shackle should.

The skid plate; the front skid , adequate coverage, good reinforcement. No cut outs for access to filter and whatnot, I don't mind this at all. Less to break or lose bolts. Removing skid to do oil filter is not a hassle to me. The mid skid; adequate coverage and reinforcement. Pleased with it. However, the tcase skid: barely adequate coverage width wise and not adequate coverage especially length wise. It barely passes exhaust x over. There is still the "tail"of t case unprotected. This is alright with me since I essentially got all of this for "free" since it cost price of fcp2 kit.I will be buying separately a t case skid and keeping the other 2 parts from IM. Getting the skid for "free" when build kit is in sale, good deal in my book. Buying it solo, just know the front and mid is all you are really buying and if you are serious about protection you'll be buying a longer , with it's own cross member , t case skid separately.

Will follow up tomorrow with pics and few measurements of lift height.

Finished up. So, 2.5 (b) springs up front, roughly 23.5 from center. That is after the instant settling from a test drive. Absolutely perfect, cv boots have a hair between em and plenty of down travel left. Rear, 25 ish from center. There is rake and I wanted rake. I often haul heavy loads so the extra rake is welcomed. If the rake is too aggressive after a week of settling in, I may remove 1 leaf. Possibly I crank up fronts a bit later.

Skids are very well put together and reinforced.

Overall, very happy with this kit so far. All the bits and pieces come with it. Sway bar spacer. Center bearing spacer ( which I didn't put in and I have no vibes but nice to have.). All hardware..etc.. all seem quality.
Ride quality. Was pretty concerned the (b) springs would be too stiff for my bumper/winchless front end ATM. It isn't too stiff. In fact, it feels nearly identical to stock on bumps as far as "give" goes and whatnot but much less body roll. Way better dampening. I live in the country so my test drive was mostly fire roads and my property. Pot holes, washboard, ravines and the like. Very comfortable, the rear is definitely stiffer than stock was. I wanted this for them loads I carry frequently. The trick, for me, is finding something that still flexes well and rides well empty but can actually carry a load without riding bumps....I will need to do more testing to see if this is that but so far it is not overly stiff feeling, complies with small quick rough spots and doesn't show the normal signs of a hd truck type of rear. It does definitely have more load carrying ability though. Can plainly see that from climbing in and out and loading up my tools for work.

Overall experience with IM, ... EXCELLENT.
price, customer service, quality.. And so far, ride quality. Unless something changes, I'd recommend checking this kit out if you are looking into one currently. The fact there is no lead times is a giant plus these days also. If you can get the "build kit" on sale for 2700.... you cannot go wrong.

Thanks @Adventuretaco13! I'm pretty fond of your super white too. You get them bigger tires on?

Meant to tell you, I too had issue with abs line attaching on one side only. My fix was to drill out tab and then instead of using the hole they have in the leaf retainer bracket, unbolting the next leaf bracket forward and sliding it up the hose and using through bolt for leaf retainer for abs tab as well. Worked good. I too had a 90 degree type tab.

So I went with a little bit bigger but not by much. I really wanted 255/80r17 ATs but I heard I may or may not have to do a CMC. I'm not ready just yet to that. So I went with Kenda klevers RTs in 265/70r17. They are supposed to have a deep tread and seem to be what I'm looking for. They should be in Friday. I'll make sure to upload some pictures after. As far as the line and the tab, I'll end up doing what you did, just haven't had a chance after work.

Those look like well designed tires. Sipes and good enough spacing for cleaning out. Ran a lot of Kenda on my ktm , really good durable tires.

After couple hundred miles On and off road, the rear is settling down a bit, about 1,5 inch of rake now. Much closer to my desired rake. My fears of too stiff and too much lift were incorrect. Firmer, but compresses just fine front and back. The load carrying increase in the rear has already proved very useful. Loaded up 1 thousand lbs of concrete today for work,.... Before, bouncing off bump stops. Wish I woulda thought to take pic but now , it definitely compressed but with my current rake it appeared just Lil lower than front. Plenty of travel left and cornering with that weight was highly improved.

That's another thing, less roll and diving of course but it also makes accelerating feel much much more responsive.
Biggest improvement though is off road. Can go faster in rough stuff. Still compresses plenty and it's controlled when dropping off things at height in the slower rougher stuff. This seems to be a great set up for a guy like me, who needs increased work, haul, tow performance but also compliant enough for frequent off roading. I will be using IM for winch and other things in the future. Very pleased with purchase.

@Ironman4x4America , looking to get a bumper during the sale but it looks like every variation of lights is out of stock currently. Any idea when they'll be in stock?

Good news. We are fully in-stock! Sorry about the confusion, if you select all your light options on the drop down menus it will show they are in-stock. You have to select all the lights or none of the lights (if you want to use your own/others).

Alright thanks a lot! Something else I've noticed on website.... I have a friend who is looking to buy a taco build kit like I did, however, we cannot find it anywhere in website for some reason.

New to the site. Lots of awesome info here, it has been a saver for my taco.

I ordered a set of rear leaf springs, they arrived last week 3-14. When I started the install found the brackets for the brake line two different sizes. I also found-didn’t catch before hand-the bolt on the drivers side leaf spring towards the gas tank. Now I will need to drop the leaf spring to flip the bolt. So frustrating!!

hopefully the ride is ALL worth it.

For those that had to flip your leaf spring bolt take a look at your e brake line. The bolt appears to still be too long has been wearing through the rubber.
