Between that and the chewed up supercharger from @White lightning boosted .. I'm getting paranoid and may spend a few hours tomorrow in the garage with the borescope cam looking around before I head to the backcountry next week in Canyonlands.

So my bearings have been squeaking forever and all this talk lately has me wide eyed cuz worried about trashing a belt or loose nut. I only have 10k but my bearings are so loud.

I wonder if the ARP bolts had anything to do with it. Fel-pro or OEM for head gasket (the opinion of a couple of local mechanics I know and folks on here who know way more than I do) if you need it at this point and don’t plan on building a stroker. If you’re removing the headers get them new OEM gaskets + copper gasket maker per URD instructions. I’m just a DIY’re who has broken more things than made them better, lol. So take this advise with a grain of salt.

Good call. I was wondering what else I may need. I picked up ARP studs and was wondering what gaskets and such I need. Any part numbers?

Well it's in the back of the blower. It's perfectly normal to have missed that because it's in a spot not normally exposed.

What is the difference between that one and 17173-0P010? Is one for the air injection models? I have 2005 and sort of confused what exhaust manifold gasket to install with the long tube headers I got used. I do have stud kit, and will need to get the URD collector gaskets from my understanding. Also is it posted anywhere about the copper gasket maker instructions? or is that only if you buy headers from URD?

Got some more NSX Blower castings rolling through the shop. Apparently they did well enough on the initial batch units they ordered another lot.

I'm also curious about the preferred gasket. I have '05 truck, with the notorious gaskets and 170k miles. I'm going to finally put on my blower that has been sitting forever, because I've been too paranoid about the gaskets. So I'm gonna go all in and change them for the peace of mind. I've heard of 'cometic type' before, but not sure if there is an aftermarket gasket that I should be getting, or if a toyota gasket made for 06-up would be the best ticket? @scooter82 has a nice offer on some Mahle gaskets,, I'll take him up on that, but want to know from the experts what gaskets you recommend if I'm buying to replace on an '05.

Hoping for the experts to chime in, but not sure I know all of you... @TRON @Torspd @jamesepoop etc...

Yest this is for the 2012-2015.

This should be the part # for 2005-2011. (171730P010)

    https://parts.toyotaofdecatur.com/p...Manifold-Gasket-Left/62999364/171730P010.html

Big discounts going on if anyone needs some OEM parts.

If your gasket has made it that long, I don’t think that you have to worry really.. I mean if you want to do it I am not opposed to it. My 05 tundra with the 1gr has 375k and the headgasket is still hanging in there.
