As build 193, with very few options (fan and insulation). I hope you're right, but would just like to share a warning you that those timeframes are likely wrong. I paid my invoice in late October and haven't heard anything from Phil about a finalized build date except that "Were waiting on delayed parts and will get back to you on _______" only to be ghosted and hear the same exact thing several months later (I've heard him say this immediately after I paid my invoice in full and when I inquired and 2 weeks ago. Almost verbatim.

Appreciate the warnings from all, I am not overly optimistic with the delivery quoted; after over 20 months into the order have to find a silver lining. First contact since making the deposit and we are seeing more chatter here than in the past year about Vagabond making contact with those waiting. One can only hope

Someone may be crazy enough to pay a $5k premium on a used Drifter.

For those that have decided to not pay the final invoice until further conformation, has anyone actually got that additional information and then paid?

I did pay the final invoice, don’t want to slow down production due to availability of capital.

You’re right, the options do add up; 14+ into mine. Might be able to pull $15K for a used one that’s immediately available.

Yeah probably for one that’s got all options, powdercoat, FR doors, roof rack, solar and all the other good stuff.
That one is a basic camper with hardly any options from the looks if it. Doesn’t even have side doors.

I'm confused how I got mine earlier than others. Addons I suppose, and there were a handful of other's complete there so I'm assuming some have pickups arranged.

And it was never much solace when folks popped up in here and said it was worth the wait. But being someone who has now had the longest wait and also received their camper, I feel like I'm firmly in both camps where I'm stoked to have the camper but still can empathize with everyone in here. I dont quite know what Vagabond's limitations are, and I have mixed feelings because the whole thing was a general blah experience. Phil and Jay especially were super kind and helpful when I was there, which just makes the contrast of how poor the communication was before that much weirder. The camper is honestly slick as fuck though, and as my hypocrisy knows no bounds I can say that it was worth the wait. The thought and craftsmanship that went into it is apparent, and the joy of pulling up next to someone with a chintzy GFC or bedrack RTT setup is one of bliss. Hope they keep pumping them out so this thread can be dead one day

Mine was probably one of the ones you saw! (Order 167). Phil told me on March 1st they were waiting on the Tern window to arrive that week and stated that my camper would be ready a few days after it arrived and that he would update me as soon as he received tracking. Tried calling and emailing over the past week to try to get a date so I can book time off work to make the trip down from BC but haven’t heard anything yet. Should be soon though! Will be nice to take the family camping in something that we can all fit in haha.

Is shipping the camper an option? Or does everyone have to pick them up?

I think Phil meant tracking on the window.

VERY different product than a lightweight, low profile and solid Drifter… But to each their own.
