Great idea. Hardwired in or still using the clips?

285/75/r16 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T’s, Extang 2.0 hard tonneau tri-fold. Billstein 5100’s front/rear with OME 886 coils and Headstrong off-road 3 leaf progressive AAL. All speakers replaced with Kicker CS Series. BulletPoint Taco Bar with stubby CB mic holder and two-way FRS/GMRS radio holder. Uniden PRO505XL 40 ch CB. RCI engine and transmission skid plates. RCI sliders. Garmin Mini Dash Cam 2. CMC by Milogen Fabrication.
If you plan on going off-road often and think you’ll actually be using the skid plate for it’s intended purpose then I would go with a steel aftermarket skid like RCI. This is their front engine skid (I also have the transmission skid as well).

If you don’t plan on doing anything too hardcore off-road then the TRD skid does look nicer.

Any idea if that's compatible with a diff drop kit? I'd assume so but you never know.

agree with this - there are better options, unless youre like me and get it for cheap and/or only plan on maxing your OR to forest service roads etc

    Hardwired.
Manifold installed with press cut-off switch, fill port, accumulator bottle, and QD for something other than tires. (Oops, just saw that this is an older photo. Pressure cut-off is not shown. I have it now though.)

Used diamond plate to extend the base from under the battery. You can just see the plate:

That's actually a great use of a somewhat inexpensive part. Appreciate the idea and pics.

I don’t recall seeing anything in the options. I would call them and ask. I know the transfer case skid has an option for the exhaust reroute.

Piece of cake to do. Not expensive like you said, especially since it isn't an ARB. The only concern I watch for is the nylon hold down strap, that runs close to the compressor head, being melted. But so far it hasn't!
Also just realized the tank photo is older too. I now have metal zip-tires holding it in place. Tank is a discarded DC-9 crew oxygen bottle (free). Will hold over 3000 psi, so my 120 psi cut-off should be with-in limits. lol

The RCI steel front engine skid with black powder coating is only $325.

 Just had the new wheels installed the week prior and they rotated the tires when they mounted them on the new wheels. I need to clean that off, thanks for the reminder!

Question for anyone running 33’s or (285/75/16) in my case. If you do a viper cut can you run spidertrax wheel spacers and be okay without a CMC? Have king 2.5s on as well..

That sounds easier, did you roll in underneath backwards with your feet sticking out the front end ? also what is the jack holding up in the picture?

Yes, that is exactly what I did.
The jack is under the centre cross member as a safety precaution. Although I trust the Rhino Ramps holding up the front end you can never be too safe.
