mine looks the same as yours. Also if you look at the edge of the bumper cover, I don’t know if that’s a protective layer over the bumper or just a ridge from the moulding process

Picked up my TRD Pro 6m this morning.

    A few observations:
    • Side Tacoma emblems are chrome in Canada
    • Rear TRD Pro emblem was installed crooked
    • Hood TRD Pro decal missing
    • Front bumper paint texture issues as described by others

I don't think the bumper paint is an "issue" per se. I'm fairly certain every single Tacoma is like that. On my 2020, the paint has a "worse" finish on the lower areas, especially that area on the front bumper.

I agree it’s not an issue, doesn’t bother me. Some however do look a lot more textured and flat than others.

I don’t mind or think the bumper is an issue for me. Now….. not having a good decal would piss me off.

Just took a call from my dealer saying that 20 Tacomas were pulled from their allotment due to supply shortages and mine was one of them. No ETA on if they will get one.

Is the dealer going to fix that for you? The Pro should have the blackout pkg and the hood decal

Dang, sorry to hear that. I guess that answers my question about Toyota having some restriction in their supply chains and if they are going to reduce tacomas.

No idea yet; they're looking into it.

I'm probably going to de-badge it, though. Not thrilled with the chrome or crooked rear badge.

    Nothing yet
Hey - my name is Paul and this is my first Tacoma. I have been lurking for a few weeks reading everything I can. I was very excited last week to find an available BC SR5 DCSB at a local dealership that was due in about 4 weeks. When out of the blue this morning another dealership I had been dealing with called and let me know they had a ELM Pro that had been sitting on their lot for 2 weeks. They had been asking $7500 over MSRP and had no takers. They just lowered it to MSRP with no stupid dealer add ons and wanted it gone. So to say the least I couldn’t pass on that deal. I had to literally speed the whole way to the dealer to beat another customer who was also interested. Luckily I got here first and I am now the new owner and I couldn’t be more excited.

My local dealer has one and I stopped and looked today. I really wanted to get this a while back before I ordered my Bronco but after seeing in person there was a bit more yellow/gold Tint to it I wasn’t expecting. I thought it was more in the green shade. Didn’t like it as much in person as a lot of photos I saw

Dealer is suggesting that the Canadian spec may not come with the hood decal. The Toyota Canada site now says that door emblem blackout is removed so that's a moot point.

I'll find out soon enough. It's still a great truck even without stickers and whatnot. The manual trans will take some getting used to.

I just saw that on Toyota.ca about the blackout. Nothing about the hood decal though.

Yeah, they're going to check with Toyota on Monday. It doesn't appear to show on the configuration tool, though.
