Hes talking about there not being a rail below the rear window. Everyone has them on the sides

Does anyone know the numbers on how many 22 trail editions have been built and/or they plan on building? It's hard enough to find a tacoma, let alone a special edition and wondering how rare they will be

Is that what they were planning or what they've built so far? Because it's definitely going to be less than they were planning lol

What was planned. But FWIW, I'm just going by memory of something I read which I cannot find now. Actual numbers may be different.

I just read on some website talking about the 2021 trail editions that they planned to make 4000 4runners, 5000 tundra and 7000 tacomas with the trail package. Can't find anywhere that mentions 2022 production though

Or even better - when I am mounting tires I will line up the same spot on the tires with the valve stem, along with the cap and lock nut :D

Does anyone feel like sharing their loan rate if you didn't purchase outright? I'm shopping around for the best rate right now since my truck should be here in a week or 2 and was wondering what everyone found to be the best rate since I'll be financing some of it. Toyota told me 3.9% and PNC bank told me 2.84%. I've seen ads for credit unions with rates at 1.99% but have no experience using them

@LunarRockV The best thing I ever did years ago was to quit the big chartered banks here in Canada and switched to a Credit Union. May be worth while to have a look? I did ultimately finance my 2020 with Toyota Canada for 6 years @1.9% Banks and credit unions could not match that rate at the time.

I financed my truck through Garden State Federal Credit Union. Home base is up there somewhere by you. I didn't get the new car rate but I thought 3.75% was pretty good for used.

Do you need to buy the end caps for that or are the end caps only for the rail system on the sides?

Definitely not bad for used, I've seen a lot higher than that

Toyota Offered me 3.99%, but like others said go with your local credit union. My local credit union was able to provide me with a 2.39% rate

Yeah I mean at 2.49% from the bank I've been with for a long time I'm happy with that, but I'll definitely be looking into credit unions to see if another 1/2% is worth the hassle, plus I don't know what joining a credit union involves. I love how toyota is offering 2.49% on basically every model other than the tacoma lol

Yeah my rate is a bit high because I am fresh out of university and on my first corporate job. My dad was able to get 0.9% from the same credit union for a Prius we got new in 2015. As far as joining the credit union is opening a savings account and maintaining a $100 average in that account. So just leave $100 and you're good to go.

If I remember USAA sent me an email saying I could get a new car loan for 1.9% a few months ago. I have been a member for 30 plus years and a credit score north of 800 so that may have done it. I used Toyota credit when I bought mine in 2018 to get another 1500 bucks off and paid it off in a year.

6.5 month wait but finally arrived yesterday. Pics dont do these justice. They are coming in without the black badging in Canada it seems but the dealer added that and the lettering at no cost. Predator steps are standard in Canada as well. Have a Bison Flip Back tonneau cover and some better bulbs to go in but thats it for now.

Did notice last night though that it seems like my driver side door speaker isnt working. Tried radio and bluetooth and nothing. Anyone ever experience something like that?
