Season is changing, time to put the Leitner back on. This time I decided that I wanted to keep access to my accessory track, so today I milled away the material that blocks it, and I can keep using all the other stuff I've made for the rails. Much better in my opinion.

i had a set of sliders that were line x coated. It chipped here and there. Not a big deal in Cali But it the salty stuff, I’m sure it would’ve rusted and peeled off more. Now I’ve got some powder coated sliders, so far no chips.

If your powder coater has the option, most do, ask for zinc-rich primer coat ahead of color coat. Makes a world of difference for durability in outdoors.

There never seems to be a simple answer anymore, thanks

On a separate note I did install my quick(er) no mess (not as much of a mess) oil change valve
And change the oil too of course....

Did you install the headlights? I also have a 2021 off road and am having issues with the DRL/light dance feature. When I use the DRL harness so that the truck does the light dance upon unlocking the DRL’s come on as soon as the battery is reconnected and won’t turn off. Take the key out, have lunch, come back, and they are still on.

I don’t know if the wiring harness I got is for a different version of the Tacoma, it’s defective, I’m defective, or what. Found some install videos and it looks like I’ve got things wired correctly.

The TCs are no drill right? I’ve been looking at stiffeners and would prefer to avoid drilling if I can

They do require drilling for the 3 bolt heads you see in the picture. The only other attachment on the side would be a single 6mm bolt.
