    Ooooh!

Can a computer chair with "rollerblade" casters roll easy on it and or will furniture sink into it?

Good question, I'm sure you could call them and they could answer that though or even point you to the best option.

I custom ordered some blinds from Home Depot on the 2nd, anyone know how to check their status online?

Figured there would be some more info in the email receipt but it's strictly a receipt.

I was told to expect them sometime this week just wanted to check for delays.

Try looking at playground matting or industrial anti-fatigue matting.

Lol this hits hard. I’m painting over a gloss gray from the previous owners of my house using Kilz 2. It goes on so thin, dries so incredibly fast, and makes me want to hurt things. The room we’re working on is 600 sq ft and I’ve used 3 gallons doing 2 coats.

I replaced the contractor pack exhaust fan in the master bath today.

    IMG_20220318_161635_01.jpg

Here's the old one. No ground, no junction box, no exhaust piping. The whole thing was entirely covered by insulation (good!) but one piece was tightly butted against the exhaust outlet (bad!)

    IMG_20220318_173457_01.jpg

    Had to enlarge the hole.

    20220318_182926.jpg

    Fan installed.

    20220318_190109.jpg

    Light installed.

I did hook up the ground and used the provided junction box. The new fan is a Panasonic WhisperSense DC. It has a fan timer, humidity sensor and motion sensor. I wasn't able to hook it all up with all the features because my power supply is all on the switch. Oh! And it has 3 fan speeds for different CFM: 80, 110 and 150. The nice thing is that it's 0.4 sonne at 150 CFM.

As I discovered these past few weeks doing a room I have found Paint to be a BOLD FACED LIAR!

It will tell you straight to your face you ain't using enough so you turn your back on it to go reload your roller turn around and find it's run!

    WTF.

Took me a few seconds to realize that's a mirror and you don't have odd oval portal doors.

Nice! I can't believe the original plumbers cut the joists but didn't box it in properly.

I never have, even when I did some light electrical work in the industrial side of things, just strip the wire appropriately so there's no bare copper beyond the internal threads of the nut.

Seems like most nutted connections are becoming screw terminal connections now or whatever these are called:

    polaris-wire-connectors-wire-terminals-it-4b-64_600.jpg

    Smaller stuff usually gets these:

I'd like to get some of the smaller ones, but today I just reused the winged nuts the nut before me used. Best part? There was a third wire nut, for the ground, laying there under the insulation. :censored:

I did use Kilz 2 on my dark grey semi-gloss walls. Took 3 coats, but I did a ton of sanding to knock down the gloss which I think helped.

I tape mine. But use the good 3M Super 33 tape. I know for a fact the Fastenal brand tape will not insulate 480V at 50A...
