Did you install the headlights? I also have a 2021 off road and am having issues with the DRL/light dance feature. When I use the DRL harness so that the truck does the light dance upon unlocking the DRL’s come on as soon as the battery is reconnected and won’t turn off. Take the key out, have lunch, come back, and they are still on.

I don’t know if the wiring harness I got is for a different version of the Tacoma, it’s defective, I’m defective, or what. Found some install videos and it looks like I’ve got things wired correctly.

The TCs are no drill right? I’ve been looking at stiffeners and would prefer to avoid drilling if I can

They do require drilling for the 3 bolt heads you see in the picture. The only other attachment on the side would be a single 6mm bolt.

    Yeah
Since my wife got her TJ I’ve been spending all my money and time on it but when I had to order her stuff from Diode Dynamics I went ahead and replaced my SS3 sports with SSC2 pros while I was at it. The SS3’s are part of her upgrades so this was a fully sanctioned-by-the-wife truck upgrade lol.

Those look really nice and you did a great job installing. This is the exact setup I am trying to talk myself into doing over my existing black leather to try and lighten up the interior. Its so dark in the cab day or night with the black leather I have now.
A couple questions if you don't mind me asking:
    1. How much did the complete setup cost?
    2. Did you go direct to Clazzio?
    3. Which leather option are these seat covers?
    4. Is this black body, light grey insert and light grey stitching? Those are exactly what I want to do.

Thanks for compliments. They are a chore to put on. Took roughly 6 hours total. I spread it over 2 evenings. Back seat first and front last. My hands were sore as shit from all the gripping, pulling and tugging. Definitely worth it though. I loosened the front seats so I could tip them back to make reaching underneath easier. I’ve seen some guys recommend taking them out completely but I didn’t see the need.

$525 with the tacomaworld discount code. I ordered direct from Clazzio on 12/7 and they got here 3/16.
These are the real leather not pvc. Black body, light gray insert and orange stitching.

I loosened the lower control arm alignment tabs.
Disconnected the sway bar from the spindle
Disconnected the lower ball joint from the spindle
Then the lower control arm swings all the way down and the shock assembly falls right out the bottom.

Oh very interesting.... I can see how they would be a pain to install and I also see they have a extended time for delivery of several months. I couldn't make out the orange stitching in your picture. I'll have to look again.

Only difference I may do is.....have TRD embroidered on head rest or back of seat.

I'm glad you posted and that I asked you questions. I wasn't aware of the code discount. I assume you type in "tacomaworld" in the code section at checkout?
