I think the official AFT stance would be that the ACT of shouldering it is not illegal but if you install it with the INTENT to shoulder it then you may run afoul of some rules... or some other word soup, thought crime BS they come up with next week that they will say was their policy that applied last week.

I want to do a carry handle build so bad it’s not even funny. But I’m trying to get a Bulgarian 74 soon :spy:

There are detachable and non-detachable carry handle uppers these days for 'a2' style rifles, that's why i specified.

Also, not all fixed carry handle upper receivers are A2s, so no they aren't all called that.

I'd lke to do an A1 clone but I can honestly say I don't remember ever using the carry handle.

Just got back from the range, no good pics. First time out with this 16” upper. Zeroed pretty quickly and it’s more accurate then me.

I have the same upper. Absolutely love the atlas s-one. Super light and easy to handle.

just switched to an 18” though.

Getting my second rifle setup how I want, still needs a laser/illuminator combo, and possibly a magnifier.
I may also end up putting a KAG on it as well.

I wasn’t a big fan of the KAG. Try an Emissary Handbrake, really comfy!

How do you utilize yours? I run the KAG on my 11.5 and I really like it, I can hook 2 fingers in it and pull it tight into my shoulder while my thumb is on my light pressure pad or I can use it as a barricade stop.

Like this. I didn’t like the slanted part of the KAG, just feels un-natural. The emissary is more like a vert grip but slightly angled.
