No 24/7 cartoon channels. Saturday morning cartoons was it. Me and my siblings with our blankets, bowl of cereal, and our snotty noses inches from the TV. We learned to fight quite because if mom and dad woke up, shit was over.

No color TV for me either. I was around TV from 1958 to 64. Then none until '76 and that was at a friends house. Not color either. Finally bought my own TV set (color one) in 1982 to start establishing a line of credit.
Still today I don't watch program TV but I do watch a lot of movies on it. Damn it.

Not sure of the name, but I think it was called "Fireball X-15". That's "X-OneFive" (not X-fifteen). Some jerky puppetry, but still fun.

I remember helping my mom do dishes even though we had a perfectly good dishwasher. Quality Time.

We had 6 channels, 3 Green Bay stations and 3 Milwaukee stations. ABC, NBC and CBS. It all depended on the weather as to what we watched.
