Feels weird when a few days go by without any posts in this group. Everyone ok??

 

Ya this thread is not what is was a few years ago. I’ve been thinking the same lately

 

Maybe it's me but taco has a sexual connotation for me.

 

I've been busy enjoying the weather more and prepping the yard, garden, kayak, etc..

 

Busy busy. And Tacoma is gone.

 

I need to come checkout that new snorkel.

 

I'll chime in even though Im not in NOVA. The other posts towards my area (Roanoke) go dead pretty quick.

 

Maybe we need a group activity - ride - brewery - (both?) to fire the page up a little.

 

We used to regularly do dinners at BJ’s in Tyson’s corner that I would organize but once I moved south those sorta fell apart and Covid threw that off for a bit too. Those were a lot of fun and should start back up.

Why BJ’s? Well, I liked the restaurant and I was the one organizing. Plus they were easy to have a large group at as far as seating and splitting bills and stuff.

I found it’s easiest to pick a date/place that works for a few people and then tell the page “this is when it’s happening, hopefully you can make it. If not there’s always next time.” It’s impossible to pick a date/place that works for everyone and can get overwhelming trying to coordinate that.

 

I'd like to do some trails. Nothing crazy. I've had trouble understanding the forest service site for roads and trails, and I hate to go out not knowing what I'm really getting in to.

 

Rite rite. I still haven’t messed with my camera since our brief talk a few weeks ago.

 

Welcome! I am not in the NOVA area either. Just jumped in a few years ago as it was the most active at the time and stuck around.

 

I'm not up there, but it sure has been the most frequented for VA.

 

Anyone have a good Safety Inspection spot in Manassas, WoodBridge area?

 

Im also not from NOVA and I don't have a Tacoma either, but this thread seems to be the best place for Virginia people to hang out

I'm in blacksburg. Flagpole knob is probably the closest trail type area around here. Not overly difficult, but still fun to get out do stuff

Lots of places in the swva area that aren't offroading, but have some good mountain views
