I have at 2010 TRD Sport and am really considering trading it in for an Off-Road model. Probably will be looking for the trade in sometime early next year. Any updates on if Toyota is going to do a moderate or total revamp of the Tacoma? If so, any details on the off-road capabilities of this revamp?

I heard this weekend that the 2012 Tacoma is going to be styled after the new 4Runner. No V8, but it will have the Dual VVT-i engine. Thats all I could dig up.

I'm in the same boat. I spend alot of time behind the wheel of a new 4runner and it's amazing, I hope it comes out similar to it.

It's chris4x4. Don't question the man! Haha but seriously I'm pretty sure they're going to revamp the taco and I'm 99.9% positive it will have the dual vvti 1-grfe. IMO I kinda like the design of the 4r on the taco. But if they combined all three gens that would make one sick truck

A Toyota rep was at my local dealer this weekend, so I asked him about it.

Just hope what ever they put out is off-road capable. Would be nice if they had a higher end off road package that had some serious off road additions, not just the rear e-locker, tires and moderate suspension up grades.

I'd like to see serious a serious off-road suspension, E-lockers in both the front and rear and an electric front sway bar disconnect. Something to really set it apart. Probably way too much to ask though as the average TRD Off-road owner is lucky to drive his truck 10 miles a year on gravel roads let alone truly off road conditions.

    Toyota 4Runner
2013 Toyota 4Runner: A full redesign for the 2010 model year means the 4Runner isn't likely to get any significant updates until at least 2012.

    Toyota Avalon
2013 Toyota Avalon: Although it just received a minor refresh for 2011, a full redesign of the Toyota Avalon is expected to arrive for the 2013 model year.

    Toyota Camry
2012 Toyota Camry: A fully redesigned Toyota Camry is expected to arrive in the first half of 2011. Given that the Camry recently received new four-cylinder engine and six-speed transmissions, the 2012 model will likely focus on revised styling and an updated interior. No prototypes have been spotted yet, but we expect the new Camry to remain very close to the current model in terms of overall size. A Toyota Camry hybrid will probably debut at the same time.

    Toyota Corolla
2012 Toyota Corolla: Last redesigned in 2009, the Corolla is due for a refresh sometime next year.

    Toyota FJ Cruiser
2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser: First introduced in 2007, the FJ Cruiser has already passed the midcycle stage with no significant improvements. This means it's either going to get a full redesign soon, or it's getting dropped from the lineup. Given its V6-only configuration and ever tightening fuel mileage standards, we predict the latter.

    Toyota FT-86
2012 Toyota FT-86: This entry-level, rear-wheel-drive sports car is being jointly developed with Subaru. Shown as a concept at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Show, the production model is expected to arrive by the end of 2011. Some rumors suggested it had been delayed to address styling issues, but more recently Toyota officials have said the vehicle is still on track for late 2011.

    Toyota Highlander
2014 Toyota Highlander: A full redesign of the Toyota Highlander should arrive sometime in 2013.

    Toyota Land Cruiser
2012 Toyota Land Cruiser: Look for a mild refresh of the Land Cruiser in late 2011. Last redesigned for the 2008 model year, the Land Cruiser typically stretches its lifecycle updates out over a longer period than most Toyota models.

    Toyota Matrix
2012 Toyota Matrix: A minor refresh of the Toyota Matrix is possible in late 2011. Although its sister vehicle, the Pontiac Vibe, has been discontinued and its assembly plant sold, the Matrix is built at a Toyota plant in Canada.

    Toyota Prius
2013 Toyota Prius: All-new for 2010, the Prius probably won't get any major upgrades until its midcycle refresh arrives in 2012.

2012 Toyota Prius-V: The Prius-V will be a slightly larger version of the standard Prius offering 50 percent more cargo space. It features a taller roof that adds both passenger and cargo room. More news on the Prius V is available here.

2013 Toyota Prius-C: The Prius-C is a compact version of the Prius that's closer in size to the company's Yaris hatchback. It's expected to arrive in 2012.

    Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid
2012 Toyota Prius PHV: This plug-in version of the Prius is currently being tested in various markets around the world. Full production is expected to start sometime in 2011 for the 2012 model year.

    Toyota RAV4
2012 Toyota RAV4: Last refreshed for the 2009 model year, the Toyota RAV4 is expected to get a full redesign in 2011.

    Toyota Sequoia
2012 Toyota Sequoia: Although the current Sequoia was redesigned for 2008, there was no official 2009 model and the 2010 model received a new engine. With that in mind, a substantial midcycle refresh is not expected until the 2012 model year.

    Toyota Sienna
2014 Toyota Sienna: Recently redesigned for 2011, the Sienna probably won't receive any significant upgrades until the 2014 model year.

Toyota Tacoma (found info on 2 different websites)
2012 Toyota Tacoma: Look for a full redesign of Toyota's compact truck for the 2012 model year. The Tacoma is due for redesign in 2012-13 and is expected to get 4Runner styling.

    Toyota Tundra
2013 Toyota Tundra: After a mild refresh for the 2010 model year, the Tundra pickup isn't likely to see any major upgrades until the 2013 model year at the earliest.

    Toyota Venza
2012 Toyota Venza: An all-new vehicle for 2009, the Toyota Venza should get a midcycle refresh for the 2012 model year.

    Toyota Yaris
2012 Toyota Yaris: A full redesign of the Toyota Yaris is expected to arrive in 2011. In addition to a new exterior design, the next-generation Yaris may also feature a dedicated hybrid model.
