I have retrofitted Hella 500s, and never use the damn things. They suck. I will probably pull them out in the near future, and figure something else out not named Hella.

Between my HID headlights and HID foglights... I can't even tell if/ when the 500's are on. IMO, it's more of an aesthetic thing at this point. But like I said, I'm yanking them in the next few weeks

im planning on doing my fogs hid too but idk where i would mount all these ballasts what did you do? and per each ground wire can you run more than 1 ground to 1 bolt or do you have to find separate bolts for each ground wire in the kits

I've got two of my hella black magics converted to HID (convertine black magics is a pain in the ass btw). With the two converted lights on I can barely tell the other two are on. The hid bulb has to be focused properly otherwise it will not work very well the light will be more of a flood light than a driving light. I want some hella 4000s soon.

I have a pair of LightForce 240 Blitz ordered. I can't wait till they come in. I originally wanted to go with 2 lights behind the grille but decided to just get the biggest lights that I could fit on my elite bumper.

There is places for all the ballasts, you just have to be creative. The only grounds you need are for the headlights. I did not need grounds for my HID fogs.

No problem . It may be a little while though because I called the place where I ordered them from the other day and they said that they were on backorder, so I don't know when they will be in.

I have the Lightforce 240 XGT's. They are damn bright. You won't fit them behind the grill but the Blitz's should have the same output.

I thought I would bump this thread because I got my lights installed today and I got a couple of night pics.

Here is a pic of the truck.

Here is a picture without any lights, looking through the windshield.

Here is a picture with just the 240 Blitz turned on, looking through the windshield.
Edit: This is with the combo filter installed.

Lightforces can take a beating. The cover on mine got ripped off by a large branch without me knowing. I actually ran them over with my truck. I just bent the plastic a little bit and put them back on the truck. It's been 3 weeks and they only have a couple scratches from me running them over.
