Dude I sent you a literal install write up for a 01-04. I bet you money they won’t get moisture. It’s a great seal. I don’t have moisture issues. The write up was step by step. I told you which halo was which size to match them with correct igniter. You tap white and black wires into corner wires for white power and tap the orange wire into turn signal power and that’s all. I have responded and helped with you. I even told you I would FaceTime if need be

bro this is the most information you’ve sent me. I can install the lights but I asked you for a week where to tap the lights in so they flash on with the blinker. I told you a week in advance when I was installing them and had to keep messaging you. Don’t act like you have done a fucking thing. The install thread another member did that you sent me doesn’t show me anything on the switchback. It’s a super easy thing to just say “tap into the parking light with these and tap into the blinker on these” took you a fucking week to get me that little of information. I don’t need to face time you or anything I just needed that one sentence of info. Jesus Christ it’s like pulling teeth with you. You should send out install info with your lights per application so once these dudes get the lights they don’t gotta fuck with you anymore.

 

Hey @LSC15 good job on the sealing of these. Dirt is supposed to be in these right? I especially like the chipping chrome.

I did not touch that chrome. The housings coming like that. Chrome was not chipped in install or any of my pics. I’m not sure how that can even happen

 

I clean thorough with a micro fiber. Look at the camera you are using. I’m sure there is small things like that on any headlight in the world. If you want it send to me back and I do another wipe and clean, I will do that for you brother

 

Well there’s dirt in there.. so that would be from when it was opened up by you and sealed by you. If the housing was chipped why would you send it out to me? If it was chipped after the fact, then you are buying some shit ass product and selling it for premium.

 

I’m not sending them back. I’m installing them and taking the loss on this and will be ordering new ones from a local retrofit when these go to shit. I’ll let you know when they do.

 

Guess whose finger prints are those Logan? If anyone can explain to me how to upload a video I’ll even try rubbing off those prints because they’re on the inside.

Nah. Basically you pay a dude to rush headlights out because of personal problems for 2 fucking years. If I could go back and beat my own ass for actually thinking this dude put out half decent shit I would. I even got my money back and sent him the full amount like 3 weeks ago because I’m a decent dude. I shoulda kept the money and said fuck it. He doesn’t deserve a fucking dime from any of us. If you have given him money I’m sorry. Try to get it back. If you give him money from this post on, good fucking luck.

 

I've offered OP to pay me back even half what I paid, no answer. No one is getting money back.

 

Yeah he isn’t gonna do shit for anyone. He even offered me a discount on tail lights and I’m like why not give me one on the headlights i waited 2 years for?
I’d say go through your credit card company. 2 years is plenty proof that he can’t keep up. After seeing the quality of a 5 year old who just got into chips building headlights, I’d say it’s not the product he described. More than enough to get the money back.

Also, as you all would expect, driver side high beam solenoid is either trashed or wired wrong in headlight. I tested it with a 9v and passenger side works and engages but driver side is dead. Will be taking this piece of shit apart to trouble shoot it when I get a chance.

 

I bench test everything before shipping. Did you plug it into harness wrong or something. You can send back and I will troubleshoot if need be buddy

 

Dude I can’t send them back 1. I won’t cover shipping. 2. As I told you before, I can’t not have lights as I drive to work before the sun is up and a lot of times when it’s going down. I will trouble shoot them and repair them. I’m just going to let you know what’s wrong with a brand new pair of $1300 lights. Only way I’m sending these back is for a full refund. Then I’ll buy oem lights and throw them in.

 

Went through the same thing with mine when I had moisture issues. He offered to reseal them, but I would have to pay return shipping and I didn't have a spare set of headlights laying around so truck would be undriveable. Frustrating to say the least.

 

Insurance wont pay out. I got a used set from op years ago and 1 light was broken. To make a claim the seller needs to show transaction proof (receipt for merchandise etc) that never happened. I had all kinds of reasons why things were slow. OP either has the worst luck of any human being or has a rolodex of excuses he cycles through.

My lights were lost in shipping. OP claimed UPS didn't pay him the insurance for a similar reason. Now I'm out a shit ton of money. I'm still waiting to hear why OP isn't banned from TW.
