Some wait time horror stories on the Bimmer/Mini forums. People are axing their orders after being told it may be next winter+.
Obviously a very first-world problem, but still. Gotta go meet my rep this week.
    (and fuck that dictator, two-fold)

I like the new development in the other thread. It appears the only thing that can teach the other one is a ban. And now he's Barney Fife.

Wut....it wasn't bordering on the rules or anything. Guess gas prices threads tend to turn into that though

Sooooooo I really don't want you to feel even more gross, but I read the fine print on carpet warranty paperwork. Carpet is supposed to vacuumed 1 day a week PER member of the family. That includes pets. Plus it has to be professionally cleaned once a year, with receipt proof if a warranty claim is expected to be honored.

I know you don't have new carpet but it's an interesting guideline regardless

Yeah that doesn't surprise me lol. I usually vacuum twice a week but with 2 cats and a toddler our clean floors last a minimum of 5 minutes

I have to see what my dealer says (if they say anything) Some on the forum have been told it could be that their order won't come until after new years. BMW is prioritizing EV and higher spec models apparently. I was told 8-16 weeks, which was long enough on the far end, but shit, I'll just get something else if I have to wait until next winter. Bummer.

The good news is carpet beetles are relatively harmless to humans and the carpet and they're pretty easy to get rid of. You noticed them, pretty much all you have to do is vacuum the carpet to keep them away

Yea, with your household you're technically supposed to vacuum 5 times a week :bananadead:
