Waiting for someone to post pics of a cement with the red version. How about a few different angles?

I think meso said that with the first batch, there was a lot that got damaged in shipment. I'm sure they will take care of the issue

    That's not how condensation works

ok, in all seriousness, I'm assuming that when the tail lights were sealed from factory, the air in the compartments was not sucked out.

So, depends on how humid the air that's trapped in the sealed compartment is, when the condition (temperature mostly) is met, the water molecules can form condensation.

If the seal is tight, then the amount of condensation should be a constant because no extra moisture can get in.

If the condensation gets progressively worse, then it's fair to suspect bad sealing?

There was a note included in the box about condensation. I’ll take a picture of it later if I remember

If the gas that gets trapped in a sealed assembly at manufacture is high enough in moisture (relative humidity), the the dew point may be above the temp that it has cooled to in that environment. It's like a cold drink on a hot day. There may be a way to prevent or eliminate this, but it depends on the design of the assembly.

Nitrogen will remove moisture in the air. Use it all the time in our thermal chambers at work to prevent ice build up on the electronics we were testing while at low temperatures.

Anyone knows who actually manufacturer these lights? I speculate somewhere in China and most likely one of the coastal regions so humidity probably is fairly high, but at least they should make sure the assembly place air is low dust and low humidity (air filter and dehumidifiers can do). Sucking it vacuum is probably too costly

Agreed. We use dry nitrogen for all of our instrumentation calibration and offset pressure in the test cells. If these are sealed assemblies I would assume that they were supposed to be purged with N2 at assembly, but I think there are unsealed light assemblies that work well.
