Yeah, but while I don't want to back to Philly, I really want a Delica now! I wanted similarly-styled Toyota HiAce, but apparently the Delica shares several parts with North American market Mitsubishis while the HiAce does not have Toyotas here that it shares parts with; Therefore, obtaining common wear items like brakes and engine parts for a Delica is much easier than it is for a HiAce. Like I said, I want one!

Those areas are generally fine. I feel pretty comfortable from Front Street to 36th between Arch and Spruce. I lived in University City 2003-2006 and never had an issue. Most weekends my buddy and I would walk 6-10 miles through Center City, Old City and down as far as South Street. I walked to work at 22nd / Walnut and classes at Drexel daily too.

Then I moved to Darby and in 2 years had my radio stolen once, someone try to break into my car a different time, and had 2 guys attempt to mug me, resulting in a pretty ugly fight.

Good evening pa peeps. So I did new spark plugs, air filter, cabin filter, new rear shocks, and an oil change on the work truck. Figured I'd save my boss some money doing it myself still charged him 400$ in labor. But all is done now. Nissans are a pain in the ass to do spark plugs on.

My boss loves the fact I have a mechanical background. Cuz he doesn't. His work truck window regulator went when I was with him last week. He was blown away that I replaced it in less than 20min.

They just filled up my propane this week, $5/gallon.
It is only for the range so it isn't all that expensive in the grand scheme of things.

If you do a lot of scrapping, we'll have to talk in about a month. I'll be ripping out my old steam heat system and will have 10 radiators and a whole lot of pipe to scrap!

Some folks pay good money for the radiators if they are a less common style, see if there is a "re-store" or home salvage store in your area. I grew up in a house with steam heat, nothing better than coming in on a cold day and sitting on the radiator. Sad to see the old systems go as they were marvelously simple and reliable but I understand the reasons folks remove them.

I had debated keeping it for a couple years but getting harder and harder to find anyone to service it, eventually I just learned to do it myself. Once I realized a forced air heating and cooling system would be the same price as the high velocity cooling and leaving the steam heat, it became an easier decision. Gaining a lot of floor space and overhead room in the basement.

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

Lynn and I are still cleaning out all the crap that her dad accumulated in our barn and stable over the years - just took another load of steel, aluminum, copper pipe and wire in a few weeks ago for a quick $30.
