I ordered a set of these today in 285/75r17 for what I thought was a pretty decent price. DTD eBay store has them for $307/tire. I placed two orders of 2 tires each and used the TIRES22 code for $100 off each order. This essentially brought the cost down to $257/tire before tax. Pretty decent I thought considering other places are asking $50-100 more per tire BEFORE the coupon code discount.

Just thought I'd throw this out there for anyone interested.

Love the look of these tires, been seeing so many on the road now. I was pretty deadset on Toyo's for my next set. Gonna give em a good look when the time comes.

Adding 2.75" RCLT in front with the land cruiser steering rack.
Bit of trimming and bigger rear axel too.
Going to be a fun project.

I'm running toyo mt now and love'em.
    Hoping these are as tuff.
Hoping the other features the geolandar's boast about are true as well.

Not gonna lie that's pretty hot for a 3rd gen.

I'm still abusing mine.they don't look as pretty anymore and there loud on the freeway. But there strong and grip like nobody's business in the rocks. They are chunking a bit and I have had a pretty decent gash in the side wall but don't lose any air. Hey @Discount Tire how do I warrant that?
Also I'll get another pair when they eventually wear out. But they are wearing really good.

I will probably never run anything else on my Turd gen. I’ve gone from Yosemite to Yellowstone and everything in between and they are unbelievable 4 season MTs.

Yup best tire I’ve ran so far. Good in all seasons in the PNW. I’ve ran KO2s and Duratracs and both don’t come close to these yokos!

    Thank you for your business!

We are glad to hear the tires are working so well for you. Regarding the sidewall issue, stop by any Discount tire or Americas tire and our team would be happy to help out.

I ordered a set of four to my local 4WheelParts store. They went on sale, and they were offering free installation for Yokohama tires.

Now, I just hope they don't take months to come in.

I know this is like comparing apples to oranges but how’s the road noise between these Yokos and KO2s. I’m running KO2 now but been thinking about switching up to these Yokos for my next set.

I was on Grabber AT2s (sim tread design) before my Yoko MTs. and its basically 1/2 worn Grabber (KO2 assumed) are louder than new G003's.

Then when the G003's are a little more worn in...maybe 10K miles, then they are probably about as loud as the ATs were...but by then you forget.

From there they probably stay that way a while until they too are 1/2 worn+

I actually put on some fairly worn road tires (Wildpeak standard loads) for winter, and was surprised how loud they were compared to the MTs I took off for storage.

I think everything on a FJC is just loud lol...maybe I need bearings

Does anyone have any good front shots of the 255/85r16 geolandar on a third gen? Also any pictures on more recent 16inch TRD pro wheels? I was going to go Cooper Maxx 255s but they aren't in stock anywhere.
