I'm installing my lift kit next week, to save some time I installed the rear extended brake lines today. My right (passenger rear) brake line is super close to my spare tire and will rub upon articulation. That's the stock spare as well, when I toss in a 285 it'll surely be touching the brake line?

How do people remedy this? I was thinking just bend the bottom bracket where the brake line goes in? But then, upon compression might be a unatural bend in the brake line.

    Thanks for any input fella's.

You won’t need extensions in the first place. Put the original ones back on.

It’s common to use a small long spring to gently pull the hose away and when the axle articulates, the spring allows the hose to stretch, and pull back.

I thought the same, the maker/owner of the suspension kit (ADS) suggested with the setup I purchased to throw on the extended rear brake lines... I figured he knew more then me so I tossed them on.

I'm pretty sure that the shock limits the travel, not the leaf pack? Correct me if i'm wrong.

Get your lift installed before you start trying to remedy. You can bend the brackets a bit without issue. The braided lines are flexible for a reason, they can be moved around or even zip tied close to the connection points to offer more clearance. Your picture shows some strange bending immediately after the connection, are they twisted?

Great advice! advice in my head I thought before I went out today to work in the garage. It's been freezing lately and it was a rare warm day that was to tempting to get a head start on the lift.

You are right about the picture showing a twist.. I'll have to go out in the garage tomorrow and see if that's a twist or a camera angle.. Thanks for the advice.

It could but that’s not what you want or it could possibly pull the shock apart.
