    I agree with that assessment.

ThTs part of the reason why I love minor league games so much. Tickets are way cheaper, athletes try way harder, and crowds are way more involved around you!

The wife and I might have gotten a little TOO into the game tonight, security had to come and warn us that there are children around and we shouldn't be so profane :anonymous:

My problem is...... who boos a referee?? That just seems fucked up to me, and dawned if I'm gunna let it slide :burp:

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Women rarely get the extra search at the door and make excellent booze mules for large events.

I almost linked that story because I know the Chesapeake well.... I genuinely don't understand how it happened since it's such a wide open bay with a well documented "large vessel" path.

Wasn't alive for it, but I remember my parents telling me about the Destroyer
.... sucks to be them

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Sounds like we have similar tastes.. but it's clown royal here.

Thankfully we're .5 miles from the bus stop and with 1 transfer it's a .3 mile walk from the minor league stadium. So we can get shhwasted with no worries......

    Also, we really suck20220319_203145.jpg

Average depth of the Chesapeake Bay is only 9'.
That spot NNE of the mouth of Mobjack Bay is notoriously narrow, in fact ships cannot pass each other there and the Cans are far apart with one small shoal marker at a short dog leg.
You'd have to run over the shoal marker to run aground there though.
That Ship chewed mud for a mile until it stopped.

    I was .. home now.

Wife was routing for the away team, and me for the home (we don't cate about sports but it's fun to be competitive)

Dude behind us 2 rows back started mad booing the refs as they came back onto the ice for 3rd period. Missus took it the wrong way and the two of them, lowkey, started yelling at the ice, at one another. I was agreeing with her, that dude was out of line. I mean seriously, why yell at the refs? Guy had been yelling at them since before either team entered the rink.

Someone around us told security and they came up to us 5min later to issue a warning that this is an event for children
