All speakers replaced with Kicker CS Series. BulletPoint Taco Bar with stubby CB mic holder and two-way FRS/GMRS radio holder. Uniden PRO505XL 40 ch CB. RCI engine and transmission skid plates. I wish! Don’t think I can afford a new one. We had 3 in a machine shop I worked at years ago that were former Navy ship units. Those things were practically indestructible! Of course one of them was off about .0002” on the x-axis so you had to compensate for that once you found zero. We used those for prototype parts. I also ran a Matsuura MC 510-V CNC mill with Fanuc controls. A used one goes for about $10k and $2k shipping! o_O One day, maybe after the taco is paid off!

One step forward, two steps back. We upgraded the speakers, but because dynomat is coming for the doors, we needed to install puddle pods, folding mirrors, V5 DRLs @MESO and a bunch of other stuff. Darkness now, until tomorrow. :fingerscrossed:

The big difference between 23Zero 270 awnings vs Overland Systems vs Overland Pros is the weight (23Zero is around 20 pounds lighter) and the way they manufactured the hinges that support the truss. 23zero has actual hinges and connects the aluminum trusses. OVS and OP have welds, it works but not as pretty or elegant as the 23zero product.

Due to the current fuel prices I am going to respectfully decline your request for me to refuel. Thank you for your understanding.

Great off-roading through forest’s, desert area’s etc. but the cost of living here with taxes, fuel costs, etc. is crazy! I’ve lived here most of my life and don’t want to retire here as much as I love the geographical diversity of the state. The fu&$?! Up part is no matter where we go in retirement most people will have a preconceived notion of us since we’re from Cali. I love this state and hate it at the same time! Our governor is an idiot! Just my.02

Very nice! It seems like I'll be buying some 23Zero products soon.

You live in one of my favorite areas. My wife and I would go and stay at Seven Gables Inn a couple times a year… couldn’t agree more about what you said about this State and Government. I retired young, moved to So Cal from Pleasanton to escape insane cost of living in the Bay Area. Plus I’m closer to my son in San Diego and we golf all the time. As much as it being a love hate thing here… it’s hard to move out.

Funny you mentioned that, one of my plans is to move to a desert community so it’s more feasible! Plus a ton of trails in every direction!

Didnt install anything today, but did hit a milestone. I have the best commute of my career now. 4 miles door to door. So took me a little over a year to achieve this. Not bad.

Almost as short as my commute! It’s nice isn’t it not having to drive far to work. Much more free time
