    Agree 100%.

When I bought my truck, even the sales manager at the Toyota dealership admitted that I could have driven it straight off the lot to the Carmax down the road, sold it, and made a profit.

I have a couple of friends who have recently sold their vehicles for more than they paid for the car when it was new.

No where near me would budge on 10K markup on 2022 Pros. And some had already long waitlists. But this thing is a beauty!

Had sold my 2021 4Runner Venture for almost 8k more than I purchased it for. Both deals on Vroom.

I paid sticker of $47,649 plus $2,500 markup in California two weeks ago for Tacoma side shot.jpg my 2022 Sport. Sign of the times I guess.

OK. Did you have a water truck wash down the driveway for this photo shoot? Albert Hammond told me It Never rains in Southern California.... Street looks kind dry...

Paid 41k for mine no markup luckily, got it at Toyota of Carlsbad if anyone else ever is looking, they are one of the more rare dealers that don't markup in Cali

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
I cannot comment on new prices, but I paid $35K for my 2016 TRD Off Road, access cab.

It was a 2 year old truck, and only had 6K miles on it. The guy barely drove it. I bought it used just shy of 4 years ago from a local Toyota dealer.

Last week, I saw the same dealer had a 2012 TRD Off Road listed for $38K. It had 120K miles on it and not in that great of shape. I was stunned by that price.

I guess compared to that, the deal I got looks pretty good today.

I was working with multiple dealers looking for a SR5 or Sport when one of the dealers had a ELM Pro sitting on their lot for 2 weeks and couldn’t get the $7500 over MSRP they had been asking. They called me yesterday and I got it for sticker price with no silly dealer add ons. Couldn’t be happier about it

That is great looking. Congratulations on a beautiful truck. May I ask what the sticker price was?

So if we are talking 22s, just put a deposit down to put my name on a 22 TRD Off-road DCSB (think I got that acronym right) for sticker. It will be $42,100. Trading in an 04 Ram 2500 Hemi with over 1/4 mil miles (we drive the tires off our vehicles). The dealership is giving me about $1k more than it was appraised at less than 2 years ago. Supposed to be on a truck in mid April. 7390D8F0-6F8D-4EC1-B10E-E87620C734AD.jpg

Looks like Larry miller Toyota in az has two elm one manual one an automatic. They show on their floor and lot. Doesn’t mean they have them knowing how they operate. Buyer beware lol.

Last month, LHM in AZ had a $5,999 market adjustment AND dealer add ons (paint protection, tint, door edge guards, and some other b.s.) for approximately $2,999 more. I walked away from a LR Trail Edition over there. Wanted the truck, but not enough to pay $8,998 for the privilege of paying MSRP.

I’ve been to that dealer and the shenanigans with bizarre add ons and fees made me walk right out and call my old out of state dealer. I’m happily expecting my new manual off-road with zero add ons or markups within the next month.

All of the shenanigans in PX are out of control. I had a deal, or so I thought, with Camelback. When I drove up (3 hr drive +/-), they did the same thing. Dealer add ons, etc to the tune of about $10k that they did not tell me about in advance. I had specifically asked them about the extras and they told me they don't have any. I watched them offload the truck, and told them to not put that useless crap on the truck and I would drive it away. They said everyone was doing it. I said good luck selling the truck (and they did the next day or so). I went and found a dealer who is charging MSRP + TTL. No more, no less. I take possession in a couple of weeks or so. Willing to wait, and laugh at the guys/gals not willing to (and feel sorry for them). I don't even like paying MSRP, but realize that is today's market. I'm willing to wait months, but not years, so MSRP it is.

Good for you fellas for walking. They get away with that crap because others fall for it!
