Yeah I just tried to match my grey as best I could visually.
Used the old carpet as template for cuts.

Definitely not like the original bedrug kits. Too bad they did away with us.

EDIT: was thinking of the bed lol. So the aftermarket interior kits dont come with seat/bolt/etc holes? that sucks.

Yeah, im def gonna need to cut a sample. There are too many and the tan is easier to mess up than grey.

    Yeah, nope. lol.

For your cargo area, I would say the factory cargo mat and then a quick cut to fit marine grade. That way dog can f it up and easy to swap in a replacement.

I know SOR has nice 80 carpet kits, and you can get the tailgate carpet solo, not sure about the cargo area though. (They do have mats for em though)

Wait, what I was linked was also an accessory. It's a mat to go over the factory stuff.

You do make a good point about not messing something up but I've been doing a lot to bring up to snuff the interior.

I got carpet, cut it to fit the rear of the cruiser then had an upholsterer bind the edges. Looked factory, didn't cost much at all.

You don't like the rubber mat thing like weathertech has? I always wreck carpet in the back of an suv.

I guess if you want it to match then it's something else. What I was thinking is one of those heavier duty mats like they have in the back of the 4Runner. I have something like that in the truck of the camry. Its actually a Toyota accessory which sits on top of the factory carpet. Figured with the doggo you could just slap in an additional layer of industrial covering when the dog is back there (to protect the mat itself/minimize on hair shedding everywhere). I don't know dude. Just throwing ideas. lol

I can, and I do like it, but the edges sit a bit higher/off than I'd want it to.

Fuck, maybe that's just the best option really if I'm not going to tear the rear out.

    No, you're right.

I just need a mat like I've used before.

@Kwikvette Don't have better photos offhand from back then, but they bound in vinyl, this is from another piece I had done, looked great.

Later for the rear I tried a few different things, this was one I worked on to hard mount in, then mount the boxes to for trips.

I have one in the subaru and its easy. Gets dirty, I take out and hose off and put back in. Carpet is brand new under. I always get black.

It's not about overthinking, and I'll tell ya why.

I replaced the leather in the second row, I'm going to replace the leather on the passenger seat, and I completely replaced the driver seat.

I also replaced the center and shift console, as well as some dash pieces.

The interior is looking much newer and better than before.

    The remaining eyesores are -

    the rear factory carpet

    the dirty headliner

So, having put in some time, money, and effort into the above, replacing the carpet just made more sense versus covering it up. That's all!
