I’ll toss in another brand, Hankook Dynapro Xt Rc10 LT285/75R17.

Like the brand, I’ve owned several sets of the MT, great tire.

Weight: For a 34” E rated AT tire with fairly deep tread and lugs at 60lbs.

Looks: That is subjective, I like these and they are different from anything else I’ve seen.

Stock: They were in stock at Wally World.

Price: Paid $770.16 + tax for 4 of them delivered to my door. Just ordered a 5th one

+1 for KO2s. I’ve had mine for a while and no complaints. Look great too.

Certain sizes of the WP AT3 are an absolute bastard to balance, but once they are dialed in, they are golden. Quiet and mannered (once they are balanced) long lasting, great wet and snow performance, and always found grip when I wanted them to.

Just spent a couple hours at Discount last night having mine rebalanced again (mounted to new wheels last week and it took multiple tries to get it right).

When you say they are hard to balance… which size do you have and is it that it takes the shop a long time or they miss the mark and you have to bring them back to rebalance?

I have 265/70/17 in the SL load. My previous set (265/65) weren't nearly as cantankerous.

When I have a minute I'll go post a picture, but a couple of wheels have double stacked weights on them. as in, two tires took an unnatural amount of weight to quiet down.

So when they're that far out, it's easy for a tech in a Friday kind of mood to not get it right.

I've read on previous threads that I'm not the only one who's seen this issue.

Fwiw, my 265/75-16s have been easy to balance the whole time I’ve owned them. Not a ton of weight and have ridden smoothly.

46DB2D29-4F01-4DE2-B2D3-5A98417EF146.jpg I’ve had Ko2s, toyo OC RT, duratrac and ridge grapplers. Ridge grapplers are great in the dry wet road situation, darn good at street snow and ice driving and amazing Offroad, dirt and rocks. They are ok and get the job done in Deep mud. Comfort hands down goes to Nitto RG in my experience. Many people complain about them for multiple reasons. Run the right air pressure for the driving you are doing and they will never fail you. I’ve towed 10k lb boat and also driven cross country multiple times on RGs. I just sold my last set with 55k miles on them and 8/32 tread for $700. Waiting on my new set to get here. Best all around tire on the market today. I Offroad the shit out of them too

Depends … if cruising long distance , 40psi, if towing heavier stuff 50psi… if it is snowy and icy 30-32 psi.

Same here. Took 3 tries to get them to balance. Finally had to pay up and have the dealer do it on their road force balancer. Mine are also starting to Dry rot on the side wall after only having under 2 years.

So I’m torn for 265/75/(not sure wheel yet) c class

    duratrac, Cooper, wildpeak, ridge grappler

want to go for best tire duration and mpg with the most aggressive look possible
