Me too!! I’d randomly start filling in circles, didn’t look at the test. I hated school! Regret it now, but I’ll survive.

We’d melt butter and pour it over top and eat it like popcorn.

Worked with a guy said he filled 100 bubbles out and still had 5 questions left to answer on a 100 question Promotion test....he said he had to go back and erase a column where he messed up and had 5 min left on test

 

Then you have no idea what it feels like to go to bed knowing a snow storm is supposed to come and school might be canceled ya gotta get up extra early to watch the news and if school wasn’t canceled it was the biggest disappointment a person could experience

I remember having a "Party Line" for our home phone service. 2 households sharing the same phone number (San Diego, Late 50's). I remember our Television blowing a vacuum tube and not working. I took off the back of the TV and took the burnt tube to the corner store that also had a soda fountain, plugged it into some sort of machine that would show if the tube was burnt out and then buying a replacement. Early to Mid 60's? Anybody else still upright that remembers going into the shoe store that had an actual x-ray machine so you could see your bone structure of your feet?! I am not kidding! "Radiation"? What's that?

 

my son does though. they cancel now for smoke related to forest fires and power outages

 

My brother in law went thru his religious faze and wouldn't let his kids watch the Teletubbies because he thought there were satanic messages being broadcast in the program. Then there was the purple "thing" with a purse!
