I found this white plastic cylinder with a hex-shaped flange on it after the snow melted near the front of where my 2015 DCSB was parked. It's where my 2008 Lexus had been parked the day before that before the two vehicles got switched.

It's a self-lubricating plastic of some sort -- feels like PTFE, but I guess it could be acetal. It kinda looks like a bushing of some sort, and there are telltale wear marks on one face.

I got no idea! Anybody recognize this -- from either vehicle?

Well spotted, @JaxJacket. That indeed could be it. I had my lug nut socket out when I was switching cars around. I'll confirm in the daylight.

Nice. Good to see you got it figured out.

    I can’t say I’ve even see such a thing.
I’ve never owned a dedicated Lug Socket.
I just use a 6 point deep well and blast them off with an impact.
Then snug them up with the impact and finish tightening them by hand.
Not to mention, my lugs are currently 21.5 mm

FWIW, I’d try some Gorilla Glue. That stuff works really good.
