You'll have to trim up the wind deflector before you reinstall it. I didn't reinstall mine and I've had no issues in the past year. That switch will work too. You can find them for cheaper at CaliRaisedLED

My setup is similar. The links to my parts are in this spreadsheet (link) and my build thread (link)

I have the same setup on mine most likely. Bought the whole kit from caliraised. I wired my switch through an add-a circuit on the high beams so they can go off automatically when I go back to low beam. Holy hell is the spot beam bar I got bright! I was going to mess with trying to get the deflectors back in there today. I doubt there will be any issues without them here in New England but building custom cars I have seen MANY that overheat due to improper fan shrouds and airflow in general. Toyota put those there for a reason.

I cut/trimmed deflectors in-half and reinstalled them. Not sure it would have made any difference. I installed the Caliraised and used their switch and relay. I live out of town and light is so bright, can only use on backroads. Neat gadget.

You can bend it a little like i did, but maybe your mount is different?
by the way the CH4X4 switch kind of suckes, I've had to take mine apart a few times over the years to keep it working. (2016)
Go to the effort to put the vent in somehow, as it can run hot when its 90 out.

PS i made my bracket from a angle bracket for under $10

Yes mine is different it attaches to The support bar which has two nuts on them. I purchased mines from Amazon. I can put a link if need to be.

I would like to thank everybody for the feedback and information provided. I was able to purchase the switch and it came in yesterday and it fit in to the slot perfectly I was able to wire it up and get it working thank you to everyone. I greatly appreciate it. Hope everyone has a great blessed day.
