So was I, but hopefully the 2nd gen Taco UCA bolt fixes that.

I'm going to just stop by the local ace hardware and buy some fender washers.

    What thickness? 1/32 is enough.

Eh, with a mallet you can open them up if they're a smidge too tight - too much gap won't make it bad, just looks cheap

True, I can always buy both if they're available and go from there.

Good progress these last 2 days. Got all the fitment dialed on the cam tabs and coil tower reinforcements and everything is welded in now. Definitely not the prettiest welds, but they're hot and definitely going to hold.

Need to flat out some of the welds on the cam tabs to allow for full range of motion for my alignment guy, but other than that, I'm planning to beef up the factory motor mounts tomorrow. Once that's all done, it's on to cleaning and prepping for paint.

I need to cycle suspension before I put limit straps on, but I have a few things to do before I do that.

Ha! Definitely not. We'll see then. I know for a fact that I'm at least cleaning everything since the frame is coated in grease.

You can pretty much set your rears to all out and fronts to mid or all in and call it a day.

That's kind of what I was thinking about starting with until I can get an alignment.

You can set your camber with the rotors and an angle finder off the frame and the toe with a string measured off the rear wheels - put your kit at ride height and it’ll be good as it gets if you bring it to a shop to dial in toe. Got all the measurements in spec this way.

Guess I know what I'm doing once the truck is back on all 4.

Do it w/o the coilovers in - just mount the wheels and put it at ride height (jack under crossmember) and measure to the fender from the hub, then remove the wheels, put the front on jack stands, and jack your lca's to the ride height you recorded and do your camber measurement from there. Toe is / can be done with the truck on its own weight.

Sounds like a plan. I'll see when I can get around to that, but definitely taking that into account for later.

String method: done it 3 times and been in spec all three but it felt a bit better after a laser toe alignment - what you can basically specify for the shop to do.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6EllJTMrZs

Done it alone each time, would go quick w/ 2-3 people though. Just keep the 2 distances to the rear wheel and the two distances to the front wheel proportional (ex. 3" on both readings on rear wheel and 1.5" on both readings on front wheel) since your track width isn't going to be identical front to back).
