Actually.. since I can get the same in quarts and rattle cans.. I shot the lid with a rattle can just to see what it does... Haha it might lay down better with a HVLP gun... Still have more work to do before I shoot the rest of it.

I do.. but it's only a 20 gallon rated at 4cfm @ 90 psi.. so I may not be able to use a HVLP gun.

Let me look at my charts. Bet ya can. I set my gun regulators for high heat black at about 50psi but need to go double check that.
    I put multiple coats on.

That’s good stuff. Can’t hardly beat it. I like to shoot my stuff on a hot day. Light multiple coats it will last longer.

The parts I sprayed today dried pretty quickly in the afternoon sun... I feel multiple coats , while not perfect, will be looking good!

Well... It'll likely have to sit this way until spring.

I know that feeling. Been hectic once vacation time ended this summer. Nice work though. Excited to see it when complete.

It's likely gonna be spring before anything exciting happens with it... Definitely looks better than when I got it!

Okay I lied.... I had to put a little color on it.

There is no way I'm spending a ton of money on the matching Inferno color but I feel like this color matches the truck close enough.

I ended up not painting the step on the back as it's a gloss color and would be slickery when wet.

Kinda forgot I had started this thread and figured starting a new adventure didn't need to clog up every one else's threads

Finally got the chainsaw mill out

I put together a large tote to carry all the things that go with chainsaw milling and posted this in another thread so I'll duplicate it here for anyone with questions...

The tote so far contains in no particular order

    Spare Ripping Chain
    3 foot level
    12 inch speed square
    Wood marking crayons
    Wrench for saw
    Ratcheting wrench for mill adjustments
Impact driver for screwing down ladder
    Screws in various lengths
    Bar Oil
    Canned fuel
    Chaps
Safety helmet with integrated hearing protection and face shield
    Gloves
    Hand held metal detector
    Tarp
    Moisture meter
    Ear plugs
    Tape measure
    Tinted Safety glasses
    Dead blow hammer
    Wedges
    Knee pads
    Paracord
Small plastic ammo box to store all the small things inside the tote.

All the tools I just picked up cheap versions at Harbor Freight so I don't have to take anything out of my tool box.

This is an older picture and things were added after this but you get the idea.
