How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Probably at the port waiting to be delivered, but that also means nothing because it could still be a couple weeks or months before delivery, who knows lol. Does an eta show up on the vspec sheet? I had an eta before the truck showed mileage and fuel in the app

 

May depend on what accessories you get. Someone mentioned earlier they were waiting on the predator steps. So may be sooner since all accessories are Installed in Long Beach.

 

so my sales guy has been pretty shitty, he only gave me a vspec for the temp vin/pre build. Once that vin quit working I noticed my truck popped up on the dealer website as “arriving soon” so I plugged that vin into the app and have been watching it like a hawk ever since. Original delivery date given to me over the phone was mid march. No communication from the salesman since then.

 

Mine was mid March now look at 4/21

 

That's annoying. If you want to give me your vin I can check the vspec for you and see if there's an actual eta

Man I hope not, my truck is coming with them and they are going in the garbage as soon as I take possession, I wish I could have opted out of them. just another 600 down the drain.

 

Ya Mine was built 3/9 and app started working on 11th. Called my dealer 3/18 to ask for update. They said it left the plant 3/16 and was already in barstow california. Asked for final price so I could gather the money and they told me the truck was almost 700 cheaper now. The predator tubes, which I really didn't want any accesories at all, were taken off so they said they're probably out of them. I'm gonna call on tuesday to see if the truck has moved again.

 

So basically they submitted the order to Toyota and toyota finally agreed to the submitted build?

 

I am in FL and there were hardly any 4x4 coming in. I had a request in since November with no luck. Luckily found a truck in Atlanta I was able to buy on Saturday. Flew up and drove back.

 

Just refreshed my app now has 6 miles and was updated today so as costanza once said “Jerry I think it moved”

 

I believe after they are in San Diego/Long Beach or whatever the port is, they put them back on the train if they have any real distance to go. Someone said once they get to major staging area called an "auto ramp", they then unload them for transport trucks within a couple hundred miles or so from the dealer. Many have said their status changes from "F" (train/freight) to "G" (ground transport) when this happens. Mine is due 3/29 to 4/4 so should hit ground within a few days

 

Where is everyone seeing the ODO and gas tank reading in the app?

 

Are your trucks arriving with tires massively over-inflated? The door sticker says 30psi but mine are all 37-38

 

This scares me... Looking for a TRD OR Manual in Army Green. Starting to wonder if my deposits will get me an allocation now.

 

I think they over inflate them to either prevent them from bouncing too much on a car transporter, or to prevent flat spots in the tires if it sits for a long period of time. I over inflate the tires on my 1974 VW Beetle during the winter months.

 

All cars which are shipped are done so with over inflated tires; it helps eliminate bounce.

 

Mine were set to 34 but when I got home I set them to 40psi. 37-38 isn’t overinflated.

 

Just checked mine all at 36 so thinking that it’s must be thru port, assuming they make sure they are all the same when leaving and heading this way.
