We use those cheap drawstring bags you get with promotional giveaways we call them SWAGbags. (stuff we all get) The cardinals love our truck mirrors to fight.

This may sound stupid - have you tried parking 180 degrees opposite direction?

    Or get a shooting table

Or just shoot from the front and if you catch the outside of the mirror.....just say a rock flew up and hit it :D

I use to get this all the time in the shop.
They never walked to the passenger side of the car.
“Must of just happened” they said..

I wonder if aiming the mirror downward as far as possible would do anything? That way you can aim them from the drivers seat (if the mirrors are electric), and just re-aim the mirrors for when you go somewhere.

Folding the mirrors in might get frustrating if you get all buckled in and start driving away and realize you forgot to pull the passenger side mirror back out.

I feed the birds here too, but man, they sure went through a lot of seed this year. Then one evening I looked out and saw this.

    LOLOLOL!!!

    A little Red Friend!

It's that time of year again...I saw two robins & mocking bird hanging out in the grass of my yard this weekend. Love to bird watch but cleaning up after them takes lots of patience.

Get a orbeez gun. It shoots little water gell balls. They dont kill, dent, or break anything, but they will be enough to chase the birds off from a distance. Plus they have full auto fire or burst shot.

It might be amusing to tape a photo of a cat or other predator on the mirror, see how the birds react. :D

Woodpeckers/flickers are the ones I hate. They haven't bothered the vehicles yet, but the SOB's drum on on the house and metal chimney vent. They also seem to know which mornings we can catch a few extra zzzz's, because that's when they are most persistent. The problem with birds is that they are too damned smart. Seems like no matter what you do, short of lethal measures, they eventually figure it out and aren't deterred by fake owls, CD's, motion-activated spiders, whatever. Millions of years of evolution has gone into developing their stupid little brains.
