I just read all the colonoscopy posts.

I had my first at 50. That was 14 years ago. I had a tumor. Radiation, chemo, and a colon resection.
Had I waited another six months to get scoped I wouldn't be writing this.

Don't wait. Early detection saves lives. It saved mine. Get scoped as early as you can. Please.

 

They recommend initial at 45 now versus 50, not sure when that started but it is a wise idea for me since as an adopted child I know little of family history. Still sucks I had to miss Rick's services though.

 

Listen to this man, please. My neighbors brother waited too long and then it was too late . I’ve had two now and will have another by years end

 

I have this my nephew wanted to keep to make a vanity out of . It’s granite from my old kitchen. Been there for too long and I want to get rid of it. I could take it to dump but I was wondering if something like this would sell. thoughts?

 

Sure, if you get the right person who woulc want to cut it into a small counter for a bathroom vanity or something. Its all about finding the right buyer though and how you long younwant to wait for that buyer to come along

If I had a way to cut it, I’d grab it and use it in my camper. I want to replace the bathroom counter for a while, just low priority and will likely end up doing a molded in sink when I do it. Throw it on Craigslist, someone may have the perfect project for it.

I'm due for another next year. Had 4 polyps removed, plus the doctor said I wasn't as cleared out as he would have liked. Bet your ass (see what I did there?) I'll be trying to book it when they call Monday

Oh that's easy, use an angle grinder or a wet saw like tile. I have a wet saw if you need to use it.

 

Straight lines aren’t the issue, it’s finishing the edges and cutting for the sink that need some care.

 

True but that can still easily be done or farmed out I presume worst case
