I need to get the company to send a $2k payment to an outside agency by end of day or they won't send the model we are supposed to work with tomorrow. Was told on Friday to talk to our new accounts operator on Monday, but apparently she decided to take the week off this morning.

Guess I'm gonna be setting up an employee reimbursement form shortly :spending: :bananadead:

    4 run, 2 don't
    Ouch

    I remember those...

If it was for my salesperson, they got reimbursed right away cause I authorized it myself. If it was me paying, I'd always end up having to wait for the business office to get authorization from the owner.

Granted I could've just texted the owner but I didn't want to go around the business office but holy fuck were they slow.

Fuck that bullshit right in the front butt. You're chummy with the owner right? Get his company card and use that... no way in hell you should have to fork that kinda cash over and fill out reimbursement paperwork

fortunately when I've needed to get reimbursed in the past it's been pretty quick. But since this is more of an official thing I kind of feel like I need to have the accountant go through the process of setting up the account with these people first, but fuck if I know where the hell they all decided to go today. Bahamas maybe

I'm going to see if I can get the IT director to do it on his company card first before I whip out my personal one

Ha. As part of our normal operating procedure the company signs us for an Amex that we have to pay off, and then once our expense report clears they pay us back. I’ve started using my own card so at least I get points for floating the company money.

Seriously?? F that noise, what if the company goes belly up one day and you're stuck with their debt lol.

I mean it would be awesome for the points, particularly travel-wise...
