Who wants to roll up to that sketchy range in Dillon that requires high clearance and 4x4 to get there? We'll take a few trash bags and try to leave it cleaner than we found it.

 

oh, and I know a lot of people who say things like "I want all my guns in the same caliber so that I only have to stock one kind of ammo."

That's great and logical, but what happens when that one caliber isn't available anywhere? A buddy of mine is a self proclaimed prepper and only stocks 9mm because that's all he has. EVERYONE has a 9mm and that's why it seems to be the first to leave the shelves. If you have enough then there are no worries. But what happens when enough isn't enough?

I don't think I'll ever need it, but I've been wanting to build an AR-9 in pistol format for a fun gun and SHTF scenario. I can't decide which config to go with, but I'm leaning very heavily toward glock mags because of the relative popularity of glocks.

 

I am member of Chatuge Rifle Club outside of Hiawassee. We could go up there, as well.

And, if anyone is interested in membership, let me know. It is extremely affordable.

Back in my younger days, wife and I used to rent a condo at Savanah Beach and Racquet Club just so we were with walking distance to the Poo. Love that place.

 

Now that I’ve finally gotten the car back, I can answer this. The shop was ARD Motorsports in Lawrenceville. Ultimately it took two or three return visits. Twice they released the car to me with major transmission leaks. I’m shocked they weren't caught during any test drives.

 

We should have a conversation regarding this. I have thought long a hard about this. I have come up with my answer. It might not be everyone's answer but I'm comfortable with it.

PNR ammo is a local manufacturer in Buford, that I may or may not be associated with, typically keep all calibers in stock.

Do not forget about GA Arms in Villa Rica. They stopped doing mail orders in the middle of the ammo crunch to leave ammo for the locals. Good people.
I use their 124gr bonded 9mm in some of my EDC guns.

 

I havent been into much shooting with the ammo prices but I've been wanting a more versatile 6.5 since I sold my long range rifle.

Preordered a build kit for the MBA from BCA. Really couldnt resist a modular bolt action that takes AR-10 parts.
