I've beat up and put stuff away for longer (off a vehicle) that looked better and cleaner than those UCAs.

Up to you to believe it at this point.

@Empty_Lord on my 04 sr5 double cab tundra,

    vin: 5tbet34164s462009

I called a dealership and they said I had a recall on my passenger airbag

Do they replace the whole airbag or just the charge?

They said they wouldn't touch it since the airbag had gone off and the airbag light was on

they told me to replace what needed to be replaced to turn the light off than they'd mess with it.

I found an airbag for cheap that fits and connects to my truck... but it's black

Would I end up with a grey one after the recall gets done because they replace the whole thing or do they take it apart and only replace the charge?

The airbag assembly/cover was scratched in my brother's Tundra and had the same scratches after the recall if I remember correctly.

Supposedly the JBAs can use a standard GM ball joint replacement that are cheap and plentiful at parts stores, but should probably count on having to do the bushings too. The poly bushings for my SPCs weren't that expensive, the JBAs probably use similar ones.

Those arms are like $500 brand new though, that's not much of a deal if the ball joints and bushings need replacing

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
Just the charge. The cover can be swapped from the airbag pretty easily

Yeah he'll probably sucker someone else with his "only 3 months old" story, and they'll have to buy new parts to make them decent & spend more than new
