My last truck had 650# with just an aluminum skid package. I wanted 600# this time to keep it softer.

Anyone inspected their stock wheels recently?
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/trd-bronze-wheel-crack-ptr-1835090-br.756038/

Turns out all 4 of this guy's wheels were cracked like the one he took photos of. I was gonna sell him my spare bronze one but then he found they were all cracked so he just needed all new wheels. I don't really believe all the commenters thinking that over torqueing could cause this. Seems to me that you'd snap/strip a stud before you split the wheel face.

Little update since this truck is moving more towards go fast I figured I would ditch my Slee sliders as they are Heavy but awesome! Any way told the wife that I was going to take them off and got a quick revolt lol... Next I planed on just putting the factory cast aluminum side steps but when looking around found out about the Green lane aluminum sliders and went this route. Took 3 times as long to pull my Slee sliders off than install these but I like them they are not nearly as robust as the Slee's but I am sure they will do the job just fine... Yeah I would say both sides of these weigh less than one side of the Slee's but the Slee's probably stiffen the frame up as they are cray stout! I have run all kinds of sliders on my Toyotas and I can honestly say the only sliders that would give the slee's a run for their money are BAMFs
