Good man. Those beers saved you a fortune. Reminds me I need to get off my tail and get a spare for Cupcake's 2014. $150 part and labour, but if the original is ever lost that jumps to $500.

Went to New Hope to see my friend's band play at John Peter's on Saturday; Hit 19K in the rental RAV4 while driving to the Uno in Warrington for dinner with more friends!

It's not slow, but the adequate power it does have is evenly distributed amongst all four wheels due to the AWD, so it's not really the vehicle for tire roasting burnouts; Trust me, I've tried...

One feature I really don't like about the RAV4 is the auto start/stop feature; There is a button to turn off this feature so the engine is always running, but sometimes I forget and the engine will go through several start/stop cycles while I'm stuck in traffic. I don't know why automakers thought this feature was a good idea, because not only is it likely hell on the engine and starter, but it is unnerving when the engine goes through these on/off cycles and it reverberates through the vehicle...

The new house will look just like the old house form the front, but it's going to be longer, and it will have a detached 2-car garage in the back; In addition to being a crumbling shitbox that wasn't worth saving, the house hadn't been updated since the 1970s and would have needed a total overhaul to competitive even in today's market if it was worth saving! It had only bathroom according to Zillow, and it lacked features that are taken for granted in pretty much any house built around here after 1975-1980; These features included central A/C, double-paned windows, walk-in closets, a dishwasher, etc...

    What do they play?

Simple, meeting the fuel economy average. The Malibu rental I had had the feature and it irked me as well, though I only had it 4-5 weeks and a good part of that she was driving it. Perhaps in time I would have been used to it.

I do agree with you re starter. IIRC there's a secondary starter for that feature, though of course what you save in fuel a little at a time I suspect you will spend replacing that starter.

On yours, if you disable the feature and then shut the engine off, do you need to disable it again when you restart? Or just turn it off and it stays off?
