I need to get started on mine.. it's going to be a complete mess this year, to the point of where I don't trust turbotax to do it right. I've called a few tax places and they all seem to want between $500-$800 to do the work.. I can't afford that.

Mild rant. Bit of a curiosity.

I ordered a wind mill art object for the garden. Thought it would (maybe) act as a bird deterrent. Website says made in America, supporting small American business, etc, etc. Its been awhile since I made the order. I emailed them and asked for an ETA. They sent me a tracking number.

Small family business but “manufactured” in 3 different states. You fell for the scam. China is getting better at schemes nowadays. You can try and cancel it but they make it impossible. I accidentally bought pit vipers from a fake website that looked just like their real site. Tried cancelling my order and even put a dispute in with PayPal. PayPal said if I don’t here back I’d get my money. Well those bastards sent a message back in the most broken English. Took 2 months for my damn glasses

 

I think that was me, no haven't gone out yet, but have appreciated the advice. I am gathering intel for a later in the summer trip with the kids. May go earlier solo but I keep coming up with or being assigned things to do around here instead.

I did in fact go up to GR. Gotta say we had a blast aside from Friday am being a little colder than expected. Most of the trails were either graded gravel or pretty hard packed clay so no issues at all there, we did find that some that were rutty and rocky with was fun to test out the truck on. We ended up staying at site 99 on kasecamp rd because 65 was already taken when we got there. Didn't even bother doing any fishing because I was enjoying everything else so much. All in all I learned what I should do with the truck, particularly will finishing off my aluminum camper. The big dog had a good time being able to roam and the puppies got their first taste of camping and seemed to enjoy it.

 

Even got a morning serenade by several turkeys on Friday

All good, the water sites fill up first. 65 is right above 66 btw you go down a narrow road to the bottom and 66 is there across the seasonally wet creek. (They have a foot bridge).

99 is not a bad site either. It's right near bonds landing so you can hop in the truck and be at the river in a couple mins.
