OKay we get it, you're keeping your Tacoma and don't like EV's. You don't have to keep repeating it.

Never said I don’t like EV’s, but not for camping, fishing etc. I drove many car Junior in my 40 years as a mechanic Tesla’s are nice but so are many other high end cars. If you don’t like what your reading Karen, like they say keep walking no need to comment.

Why would you care if I did Karen? Your just another punk that changed oil and brakes and calls himself a mechanic.

And that's a shame. They were selling well. How GM could screw up an EV is astonishing. Ford needs a Bolt contender.. They are selling EV's well. For my budget and range needs a 62 Kwh Leaf is perfect and priced well.

I’d rather camp in this. I’m old.

Nice Jeep and Mercedes camper, how’s the ride on the Mercedes? I don’t know if I should mention anything about camping from the looks of previous posts. It’s a touchy subject.

Depends on where you live. Unless you have a really long extension cord.

Again to spend over $100k just for 2 or 3 vehicles is out of my budget and the break even point is years and years away (Fuel prices compared to interest and monthly payments) if I were to spend that kind of money now when I've had 2 car payments for 4 years. I will be car payment free in less than 2 years and am looking forward to that. That's what works for me and my family.
I commute 80 miles a day. Have to have a truck as I tow a travel trailer. Looking to possibly replace my wife's 2016 mazda cx5 which has been a GREAT car. No issues whatsoever. 30+ MPG. She is supervisor and gets paid mileage (which hasn't increased in a long time grrrrr) It's always made sense to me to maximize that $.58 per mile but to get into another payment (no I cannot afford cash) makes no sense. It will be paid off next year and that $400+ monthly savings FAR outweighs any gas savings I would get for years and years. I started to do the math and got beyond 5 years and said screw it. I'm older and have to think of other things besides these trendy utopian ideals being thrown about now. This is the point. We, as individuals, need to make decisions, that are best for OUR situation. To have the powers that be force me to make these decisions is unfair just wrong. Let the people decide on their own. We will eventually get to electric. Let it happen organically and in time. The Earth isn't going to melt like some doomsdayers are spouting. Wasn't Manhattan supposed to be underwater by now? Flame away. I don't care. Old crusty (55yrs old) guy out.

Oh and the Nissan Leaf is a butt ugly car. Sorry just my opinion.

Most electricity is generated with stream turbines using fossil fuels, nuclear, biomass, geothermal, and solar thermal energy. Other major electricity technologies include gas turbines, hydro turbines, wind turbines, and solar photovoltaics. We still have a long way to go.

Well an EV isn't for you. Ev's aren't trendy and aren't being forced on anyone.
