Nah I feel confident. Installed and letting it set overnight. Should be fine. Besides I didn't do the weather stripping so it's not rocket surgery to redo any if they got jacked up.

Not impacting me so much fortunately. Company vehicle, preferred transportation uses 2 wheels...
In fact, I'm being patient, and using the opportunity to snag deals when possible...

According to the trip spit out thing my new job is 15mpg 1.5 miles from home.

....I had no hesitation installing my rack :D:D:D

Speaking of which where should I be watching for leaks should any arise? Directly underneath mounting points or does it channel off to the A or C pillars?

Will be wire brushing the back end of the frame tonight and painting it with some chassis saver to see how well that holds up.... Tried it on my lawn mower mowing deck and it came out awesome.

That suckssss! If you're up for a drive to Tamworth, I'm game to take care of that for you for a nominal fee.

So the water leaks in through the window seals, door handles, and top corner of the door seal, then gets into the door latch and cable assemblies and causes freezing. We see it a lot up here. The doors either won't open, or they won't latch shut until they warm up and thaw out. Makes for an interesting drive in!

One of the first recalls was to seal up the gaps, reseal the handle, and inject washer fluid concentrate into the cables. Then Ford decided to change the funnels used in the window run channels to improve water deflection. It's so annoying

I've had REALLY good luck with Eastwood's rust encapsulator. I descaled the whole back half of my F-250's frame and coated it with that, then Eastwood's chassis black. It's holding up really well so far! Still black and no rust!

My girlfriend and I went to CT for a little long weekend getaway. Got to go to Manhattan and check out Ground Zero, but unfortunately the museum was sold out for the day. It's totally insane how massive that new tower is! They did an amazing job with everything at that memorial.

Traffic though.. ew. I don't miss it :puke:

I have some good "you cannot unsee this" stuff but I think you won the pony with that stuff.

GZ is on my wish list to see. I got to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island in 2018 while in NJ..never got there while I lived in NY. Really moving experience for me.

Last time I was there, was Fleet Week, 02 I think? We weren't allowed on liberty unless in uniform...
And our coin was no good in the city at the time...
We went to the site, were allowed inside the fence, etc. Hell, even got a ride in Mayor's limo...

Haven't been to the city since... other thanylthe Cross Bronx abd driving over the GW(which i don't do anymore)

Hey now those of us from the silver delegation are busy being blinded by the beauty of our trucks, we don't have time to look for other motorists!
