Cement Tacos let's see them!

Yup that’s the rim size I went with, and it’s stock suspension yup! My tires are hitting the mud flaps just a touch at full turn. I’d say the tires are sticking out past the fenders about 3/4 of an inch. I can snap a picture tomorrow

 

This doesn’t normally happen

 

Specifically my tires are 315/75/16 which equates to a 34.8" tall tire. So not a true 35" diameter tire but very close.

 

FedEx says my 55" hybrid CVT awning should be in today. Ordered it in gray to match my Cement Tacoma and my roof top tent. I'm going to try and mount it as low as possible to not interfere with the cases on my roof rack, but I'll have to duck unless I get the tall Prinsu awning brackets and entirely block the latches on my case.

 

Even most actual 35x12.50s aren’t true 35s, and once the weight of the truck is on them, they’re all closer to 33s or 34s. And 33s are more like 31.5s or 32s on the truck.

 

Pulled the plug on some new tires today got them for $760 otd from discount tire.

^^^ Thanks, that looks great! I went back and forth on wheels for 2 months. Couldn't decide between Anthracite Vectors, Titanium Icons, Bronze Icons, Black TRD 4runners or Methods in Ti gloss. The struggle was real lol.
Definitely didn't really want all black but wasn't sure if I wanted something close to the paint color either. Ended up scoring a deal on some KMC Summits in blk/gray tint same size as the wheels you have. I guess I'll see how they look hopefully I'm not disappointed.....Those Icons look good.......

 

Haha ya I went back and forth for a month or so as well, I was really close to going for the Anthracite Vectors. One thing I don’t like about these icons is how the lip of the rim holds water. Always seems to be some in there

 

That would aggravate the shit out of me. I don’t know that the KMCs will be any better. I almost bought the methods for their simple ness and ease of cleaning

I love the cement color! Does anyone have this problem with really loving your paint job and also you love to go through tight trails with a lot of branches?

Any solutions to this? I was thinking of doing a whole paint correction and wrap the truck with a matte gray look.

 

Have you seen Goat Armor? $620 and may just work for that. I took my truck out hunting the weekend I got it. I was stressed the whole weekend as we went through narrow trails and it wasn't kind to the paint. It buffed out but no fun with a new truck....
