I didn't know either, I'm sure there is going to be a bit of sound coming threw them but I figured just leave them open in case I ever need to get to them. I have the cuts so if I ever feel the need I can fill them.

How much that set you back? and where did you source it? I need something like that for my kayaks and canoe.

I have approximately $750 in it. It's an Ironton 40x48 trailer with an Ironton truck rack bolted to it, and a 12' 3x3 .120 wall square tube for the tongue

I have a small trailer about that size at home... Might have to do something like that this summer. Couldn't take a kays anywhere with my RTT on the truck last year.

Been there done that too. I just went looking but I can't find the picture of when I have my Subaru XV and we had 2 on top and 2 in the trunk and still fit 3 of us in there. It was sketchy!

Anyone know if I can turn the truck on without the front seats in for will that piss it off? I still need to finish my sound deadening but temps are in the 40s for the next week and I really need to get it done before its going to warm up. I just need to heat the space. Otherwise I'm gonna run a space heater out to it.

Sweet! I also have a Ultragauge so I can clear any codes. I just didn't know if it would let me start it without the airbags being plugged in. I love older cars that don't get mad anytime toy unplug anything.

20220322_135556.jpg Scored some 3rd gen aluminum running boards on fb marketplace. Took off the nfabs for now. I don't need sliders and only have steps for my 5'2" better half.
More door ding protection for mall crawling?

I believe all you need plugged in is the ECM. I’ll be testing that theory when I replace the dash harness.

You could have set the toe with a shoestring and driven off.

People do this by placing two jack stands alongside the truck with a string,
measuring to the center caps evenly with a ruler
and then using said ruler measuring to front and rear of the tire to set toe so it's equal on both sides

    Does not take long

Like somebody else stated you can but it Could set a airbag code which unplugging the battery or anything else won’t usually clear it. Mine had a airbag code stored for the passenger seat being unplugged. I had to go to a friend of mine shop he had a scanner and was able to clear it.

    Yes we could of,

I bought a pre owned Tacoma and threw on new uca’s, spindles, and coilovers and new tires. Figured playing it smart is a better use of my time. Tow truck was schelduled the morning of and showed up 20 minutes early :)
