    Skimming through the last 5 or so pages.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one without tracking/ shipping emails that ordered on RD.

    Having said that, still kinda unsettling that others received theirs already from other vendors. ~

    I believe Morimoto is in the East Coast, so they had theirs a little earlier.
    The West Coast shipment was delayed by about a week because, in simple terms, the boat was chilling out at port.

    Has MESO received the lights from the shipper yet? He said once it reached a point it was three hours to him.

    On 3/12 he said the lights should be getting to him "this week". Hopefully we aren't too far from actually getting them shipped. Like some others here, I'm a little disappointed not to have gotten a shipping notification yet given how early on I preordered (even though it would only be "pre-shipping" in preparation for when the lights actually come in).

    Just keep in mind that He’s likely stressing over this way more than we are. It’s a lot of pressure to have taken peoples money and feel like you’re not meeting their expectations. He’s at the mercy of the shippers and no one could have predicted it would work out this way.

    Fully agree, we all appreciate MESO and their products. Most of us on this chat have multiple MESO mods already.

    Oh... some of us could have predicted this.

    That's not to say that I'm at all frustrated. @MESO has been upfront and transparent through this entire process. I'm not sure what more he could do to make this right with his customers (free shirt!).

    As you can see in my above quote, I warned against a pre-order, as buyers tend to be pretty predictable. While they say they're ok with a distant release date, the reality is they get VERY impatient, especially towards the end.

    I won't be surprised if this is the last pre-order we see from @MESO.

    For me it was just a question where the lights were, at the port or elsewhere. I've been building a home during this time of viruses and supply issues. If all goes according to plans now, it will have taken 23 months to complete this July. Dealing with the builder and all the contractors with the supply issues has been fun.

    I keep trying to talk myself into the puddle lights also. Taking the
    door panels off, makes me cautious. I've read where some say its easy and others have had a harder time with it. I'd probably be in the latter group.

    I ordered my set from the source - morimoto. They are running a 10% off sale and it was free shipping. I put the order in yesterday (3/21/2022) and it was shipped this morning. and is expected to be here by Saturday. On morimotos website they mention the warranty is honored but if you don’t order directly from them you have to go through the vendor or dealer that you originally purchased from.

    EDIT: a word from meso when I emailed them wondering about lead times. It sounds like it’s close and the delay is out of his hands.

    “They (XB tails) are unloaded and awaiting pick up to be delivered to us directly from the port or Oakland. So hopefully they will be here soon.

    Still happy to wait. Might need to change shipping addresses if they don't go out in a day or two but I knew that when I bought 'em.

    Thanks for the shirt @MESO! Much appreciated and a thoughtful gift but honestly unnecessary. We knew the deal when we bought in. I was okay with estimates when they were stated on the site at checkout. I'm okay with it now.

    I am sticking with the sentiment that this is better than what I'm doing with the puddle pod drop. Waiting to jump to the site as soon as a restock email hits, having notifications on for the thread, and checking social media every day. Fuck that noise.

    In my previous experiences with TW shirts... they're usually drop shipped from the t-shirt printer. That way @MESO doesn't have to carry crazy stock for every size possibility.

    I could certainly be wrong in this case...

    my bad - I thought @MESO had these things in house. Hopefully these lights arrive soon.

    I was holding off installing the bed lights, license lights and the reverse license plate interrupter… but this past weekend was awesome. Installed all that and I wired in my redarc bcdc and connected the 2 batteries under the hood.
