It was the robot that you used to play gyromite. One controller went in the pad for the robot, and you'd use yours to move your character and send orders to the robot by flashing commands via the monitor. The robot's eyes needed to see the screen and it would read the flashes.

Never was even in my wheelhouse. The thing I really wanted as a kid but didn’t get was the power glove

My cousin had the robot. He was younger. I was aging out of video games, at least to the point where mom and dad were going to buy them for me. I was still rocking the 2600, and after that, had a Commodore 64. Never had a Nintendo. The robot was cool, but in my opinion, it was a gimmick, and really didn't add anything.. but that's my opinion.

I don't remember playing anything else but gyromite with the robot. I couldn't tell you if anything else used it.

I assume you mean a cartridge, and not a SF2 Upright cabinet...

It’s science really. If you want control over something you have to blow it first.

By the time I got to jr high, we used a compass & protractor for math. Then I took 2 years of business math in high school.

Only in tech school, I learned to use a slide caliper ruler!

I am the guy that has sharpened this at least three times and adjusted the arm so it stays up and doesn’t cut your fingers off.

A few times. Loved the movie.

I knew I had to watch my back at all times when I went through those tubes into the lake (Cannonball?). Staff sprayed me with a hose. Went down the tube. Get shot into the lake that was like 50 degrees. I come up from under the water like wtf? And no time later the lifeguard yells, “move!” and I almost get bombed by the guy behind me who went too soon.
