Go for it!! Just do some research if that's how much you want to lift. Sometimes I feel like I could've gone a little higher. But my little girls might have trouble getting in..lol

    Falken Wildpeak AT/3's

They rub the front mud guards a bit on sharp turns. Minor surgery required.

I have some Falken Wildpeak AT3 265/70/17's on SCS F5's -10 offset on stock suspension. I am getting some rubbing when backing up witht he wheel turned, and turning sharp on an incline.

Anyone know the best method to to get rid of the rubbing? Would taking a heat gun to the plastic in the wheel well work?

2015 DCLB TRD Sport (Pyrite Mica) with stock wheels and 265/70R17 Goodyear Duratracs. This was stock-ish. I installed a 3rd TRD Off Road suspension which raised the front about 3/4".

    IMG_6654.jpg

This is on 17x9 FN Six Shooters with the 265/70R17 Duratracs swapped from the stock wheels and same 3rd gen TRD OR suspension. I got a set of 5 for $150, couldn't pass that deal up!! I ended up using Bronze/Gold plasti-dip and they have held up for over 3yrs now. The wheels were black before I dipped them and had some chips in the paint. I really dislike black wheels since I want my wheels to stand out if I am going to spend good money on them (even though I got these cheap), literally 99 out 100 people have black wheels on their truck in my area and from more than 25ft away they all look pretty much the same. Not trying to dis anyone with black wheels. It looks good on some trucks and it's your choice...it's just not for me.

Thanks. I get a lot of complements on the wheels and tire combo. I think it looks good with the Blazing Blue paint.

Also was able to keep the front mud guards with some surgery. I know a lot of guys don't run them, but in case anyone does you can make them work.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!! lol The Subaru crowd is just as bad. On the Ascent forums everyone is like "look at my new wheels" and I'm just over here thinking...you spent how much just to get black wheels and look like like 80%+ of the other Ascents?? I don't know, I guess I just like my cars/trucks/motorcycles to stand out from the crowd and I like a bit of originality. I must be doing things wrong since I don't have 100k Instagram followers. lol Come to think of it, I don't know the last time I logged into that.
