Ok, So its that time of year, again. Company Christmas parties! Went to my Wifes company party tonight. It was the same ol' thing. Bla bla bla bla. Then, people start getting drunk. Here we go. Not to go into detail, but Why cant people seem to just CHILL OUT.
    Its a fricken CHRISTMAS PARTY.
Saw the thread on office people staring into others offices, and I figured I would post this. Anyone else have similar problems?

We don't have an official party here, but rather a month of 'activities'. I work grave shift, so I never get to participate, but I don't mind it. We get a bonus paid day off as our christmas gift .

My BF's work (Chevy) use to rent a ball room at one of the casinos and have a big formal party, then last year they had a dinner at the local YMCA, this year is a potluck at the shop during work , sure shows the state of the ecomony and the dealerships budget. Everyone use to get a bonus check, this year only some people are getting it.

I'm not a fan of holiday parties, so I avoid them at all costs, especially work related events.

We don't have parties here either. I wish they did!! It'd be funny as hell!

It's bad enough this place is a soap opera on its own, but get 'em drunk and there'd be all sorts of stuff happening. Probably a few arrests & convictions too. :D

We're having a pot luck on the 19th, it's fun watching all the political maneuvering, ass kissing. We slugs with no hope for advancement encourage this behavior for entertainment, it's the only way to keep the bile from rising to the top and exploding for public display. :puke:

We stopped having Christmas parties just for that reason, the minority of obnoxious and the liability of drinking and driving. The event is now a family-focused event luncheon, pretty cool even if you don't have kids. Oh and the no alcohol keeps it focused and quick!

Well, Last night at my Wifes, there was a little area with some cheezy wrapping paper on the wall as a back ground, and some styrofoam "popcorn" snow on the floor. They wanted my Wife and I to stand there so we could have a pic taken. I grabbed some "snow" and threw it at my Wife, so she retaliated. The wrapping paper back ground started to fall, so I decided to wrap her in it. Pics were being snapped right and left, as everyone thought it was funny. ONE guy/dousche/asshat, decided that it pissed him off. He made some shitty comment and started with the 'ol Stink eye. Everyone was haveing a good time, ecept for this dickwad, so he HAD to F with me. So he comes over to me, and says something. At this time about 20 people are around us. I blow him off, and mind my business. He follows me. By this time, everyone is gathered around looking at the pics that were taken which are being projected on a wall. Here come dousche bag. He says something, and kinda bumps my left side. At this point Im pissed. I turn around lean into him and tell him " I will crush your F'ing skull". My Wife tugs on my jacket (while laughing at this guy), and his little gal he's with pulls him to safety. This was completely unnessasary on this guys part, and I did everything I could to avoid this creep.

He wont need a firearm. Libs, when proveked or pissed off, just run amok screaming in the streets. It could be entertaining. Can I go, Matt? :D

Trust me, this party will not be entertaining no matter what happens. :(

Well, the guy that is hosting is the only cool one. He is into guns somewhat and really nice so I probably shouldn't make waves...but I'll still be carrying. :D
