Hello all,

first time poster and a newbie collector, started last summer, mostly collecting hotwheels series cars, someday I might venture into the more expensive stuff, but for now I love how many damn cool cars I have for hardly any money invested, oh and searching for treasure hunts is a blast.

I travel for work so I get to stop in other city’s to check their local Walmarts lol. Haven’t had much luck lately, only 2022’s I’ve found in my home province are from the local tiny grocery store in my home town. Stores are actually bringing cars in from Malaysia so I’ve been getting 2020 and some more 2021 cars lately and filling up some sets I never thought I would.

anyways here’s today’s lunch break score from a city about 3 hours north of me.



They didn’t have 3/5 which is an olds 442 w-30 but I managed to snag the other four. Love the detail on these for 1$ cars.

These are all 1/24 model kits. The Duster funny car came out pretty nice which is unusual with funny car builds. That paint job was a challenge, All 3 actually. The Sox & Martin 67 GTX is a modified build. I narrowed the rear end and added some wider tires. Also spliced 2 rims together to make the rear rims deeper. The Color me Gone Dodge is a old Lindeburg kit with old adhesive decals that yellowed over the years. That doesn't happen anymore with water-slide decals.

 

Friggin scored today after the gym. Found a super treasure hunt in Kroger. Super stoked

 

Dollar store has more better choices ohh yeah!

 

Ziltch is the number of scores I had this week. Come to think of it that's what I have had the last couple months. At least with this website I can see what you guys are finding. Makes me kind of want to move somewhere else sometimes.

 

I bet packing up and moving your toys would be a major endeavor.

Bend is nice as long as you dont live any where near to it...lol.
