Any idea what this is from? :notsure: No skull. For my area I could only guess a coyote. Looked too small for a mountain lion. (not a hunting area)

It is oddly round. Maybe a stone cesspool with the top boards gone? Originally under an out house?

Found this yesterday while out walking. "what's the biggest tire I can fit on my wood without it rubbing?"

Found a rock that was shattered into angry looking spikes. This is one of the spikes and it's obvious that there was an extremely high iron content in this rock.

Not exactly cool but went hiking on an out and back trail and though not there when I went out there was a fire on the way back... I called 911 and the FD was on the way.... I have no idea how it started or how it could have started unless intentional...:mad:20220323_124541.jpg

I have actually had to call in two fires. I'm deathly afraid to come upon a another one because you know they're going to be suspicious as hell.

My in-laws have a volunteer FD beside their house. A few years ago their gas grill caught fire, propane hose melted and it was crazy. They called 911 and it took the FD 17 minutes to get there

yea that's why I call it in. I'm pretty "squeaky clean" having a security clearance and all that plus I was recording my tracks via ALLTRAILS so I had a record of where I was and when I was there....
