    Im confused. How does one argue with the factory owners manual compared to what a bunch of kids do in whatever dealership you're referring to? I've seen arguments about only using the LF fluid in the TC but never using the same fluid that's in the diffs.:crazy:

    What you're proposing is EXACTLY why I don't allow anyone else to work on my truck if I can help it.

    How was I steering? The question was…. What do we use, not what does the manual say? There are a couple of Toyota techs on YouTube who have a combined 300k+ subscribers who say the same thing.

    I used Amsoil 75-90 Severe Gear bags for my front and rear diffs, Redline MT-90 for the manual trans, and planning to use Redline MT-LV for the transfer case when i get to it, its only 45k miles so i plan to do TC @60k based on everyones recommendations

    I read somewhere on here a while back some people were having issues with shifting in/out of 4hi/lo and 2wd and ultimately said the diff fluid might have been causing it and it was a huge debate as well. I can't remember the post specifically but its not worth my time to use fluid thats not recommended

    Service mileage interval on the differentials is, every 15,000 to never, depending on use.
    The transfer case is, every 30,000 to never, depending on use.
